It could be quite a bit depending on the role/accent and how the actor does with it. When you think of Bale and that Boston accent in The Fighter in particular, I wouldn't be surprised if she was there a lot.

This is from an old article about her working with Bale in 3:10 To Yuma but it kinda explains why she has to see the movie early:

"Christian likes to focus on his acting when he's on set, so he wants to get the dialect work under his belt before he starts," she says. "He's particular about his voice as well as his speech. He's very conscious of vocal mannerisms. We'll read through the script, and then I will get samples for him of particular dialects that are useful: people from an appropriate background and education level, males, of course. We do drills with phonetics books [and] one book that I use called 'Speak With Distinction,' which is just this compendium of every sound you could think of in the English language paired with every other sound you could possibly pair it with.

"Then we'll go over the script, and I'll make a word list from the script of which words change and how they change and look at rhythms and patterns of speech and inflection. Then he goes away. I very often will review the finished cut and look for places where there are slips, so that he can ADR [automated dialogue replacement] those slips, which are rare with him."

Right but the question still stands are they actually still doing ADR (as was mentioned before) this late in the game?

Depends on what she caught. I imagine that, on her word, they will fix any slip-ups in accent, but nothing really major.

I could be mistaken, but I've heard of movies doing minor fixes and changes right up until the day the reels are sent to theaters for viewing, so it wouldn't be totally unbelievable for them to make small, minor, last-minute patches.

Also, it might not just be Marion's that she's checking but also Bale's (who would obviously have a lot of dialogue) so maybe they're doing some final checks. If she was traveling with Bale (Joe and Oldman) to Pittsburgh like that other tweet that Magnar posted, then I think that means she was working with Bale again as well for TDKR.

Because like dialogue, ADR is usually some of the earliest stuff that's worked on in a sound design/mix...unless a certain actor's schedule means they'll have to come in another time. And even then, the last month or so is not when it's pushed to...this is usually the time when the whole thing is either done or quite close to finishing.

Again, it's not the work, but the timing which makes it more likely that something other than that is why she's there, like a personal friendship built through work....which also happens a lot. Not saying it's impossible, but it would be quite rare this late in the game. And even less likely in Pittsburgh, unless that's where they're doing post.

oh man, so what everyone is saying is Nall just spoiled the runtime 3 hours + and of course deleted that bad boy as soon as he realized oh i shouldnt have done that. Great work Kvz5

I would absolutely love this movie to be over 3 hours. It would be a dream come true. A dream that I never believed would happen. I'm not sure how the general audience would take it, though. Also it would probably hurt the movies box office and could screw up critical reception a little, but as long as I absolutely love it that I can deal with all that. Still, I hope it doesn't screw up the B.O. or reception.

To sum up the last thread for those a bit lost:

-Roger Nall tweeted that his wife works on TDKR and saw the movie today. He tweeted it was 3 hours+ long. He deleted the tweet.

-It was discovered that his wife is a dialect coach (Francie Brown). He tweeted before that she was on an airplane with some of the cast and landed in Pittsburgh. He also tweeted that she worked with Marion Cotillard on TDKR.

-On a webpage it says that she is brought in to review a final cut of the film, "I very often will review the finished cut and look for places where there are slips, so that he can ADR [automated dialogue replacement] those slips"

Out of curiosity though, is the Tales of the Black Freighter as effective in the film as it was in the comic? I never got to see the film that way and I've always been curious.
