Call Of Duty: Black Ops - 2

Couldn't tell you, I have yet to play a COD campaign. The last 1st person shooter I played was Crysis 2 and I really consider it one of the best I've ever played.

Finally prestiged. I used the Fresh Start so it look like I never even played the mp. My only regret is that I lost my sweet Achievement Hunter emblem.

1 week in & I've already found something I dislike immensely.

This game is too much like MW2 from a killstreak perspective. What do I mean by that? Too many killstreaks in the air or on the ground, some of which like the guardian & sentry are completely unavoidable in the sense that I can't just run past them if I have a particular perk on.

Then there is the UAV spam. Ghost is almost an absolute must in certain game modes otherwise your gonna spend half the map with people knowing exactly the direction you are coming from & they'll wait there head glitching until you come to them.

I took the M8A1 through with me when I prestiged, but next time I'll be taking Ghost. The guardians require you to be carrying a Black Hat iPhone or an EMP to get rid of them on certain maps like the boat one were if they are placed in certain choke points they can be a pain to destroy with bullets.

Have you enjoyed the previous COD single player stories? If you've never tried one then just look at the more recent COD games as Micheal Bay productions and you'll get an idea for their level of story telling. Although I think this particular story has been the best so far and offers a bit of replayability since you can get two or three different endings.

However, if you never intend on playing the MP, I would say just to rent the game if you can since you can beat it in less than a day.

Played some of it on Wii U at Play-N-Trade earlier, I do like being able to use the tablet as a HUD to an extent.

I liked them all except CoD 3 which got boring. Campaign & Survival/Spec Ops/Zombies are a big part of the attraction of CoD for me. When you add in the multiplayer (which I'll give a proper go this time) it's not bad value for money.

It's a killstreak fest.

UAV's, flying homing missile paper planes, sentry turrets, microwave guardians.

The killstreaks are the 1 thing that are annoying me at the moment.

I'm gonna have to make a class with ghost, blindeye, coldblooded, engineer & carry either a blackhat or EMP grenades with me to avoid them all. I may settle for 1 primary weapon which sucks as I like having a sidearm pistol.

That sounds awful to me because i hate getting killed by the little gadget things. Annoys me so much. Like i hated getting killed by the rc car

There's something called a Hunter Killer, which basically looks like a paper plane, it's a fairly easy killstreak to get & the player just aims it at the sky throws it up & it is like a homing missile that comes straight for you.. unless you've got Blindeye or unless you are in cover.

It's getting on my nerves a little. I wouldn't mind it however much like the RC Car in BO1 (which is also back in BO2), you just see too many of them in 1 round of Kill Confirmed, Capture the Flag, HQ etc.

I feel highly insulted that they removed that without warning, I only played it a handful of times, however the whole motivation for pre-ordering was so that I got access to that map. Who the **** wants to play un-ranked custom at this stage just to access the map..? I sure don't.

Thats also grounds for a lawsuit for false advertising, They touted there record breaking pre-orders and then cancel the selling point of there preorders......

I dont remember this ever happening for a game, it would be like ubisoft saying there pulling the extra missions for the PS3 6 days into release....

Damn, I'd heard the killstreak situation had improved with this game.

They just posted on twitter it will be back but in a more restrictive way, i call it false advertising because I thought it would be part of the DLC and it would be permanent no where did they say that it would be a temporary playlist.

Wow that sounds pretty awful.

And how could they remove nuketown? Thats just ridiculous. Wouldnt be surprised if they were sued. If i expected to get that map, I'd be very upset to have it taken away after such a short time. Couldnt they just make a special playlist for people that have the map?

Nuketown 2025 is back.. at least on PC it is anyway. It's back in rotation with a handful of smaller sized maps for a mixed gametype list.

Bought this earlier today. Some of the new weapons are fun. I think the the futuristic atheistic helps it feel a little different, but honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. After so many years and so many games, this franchise should be one of the best looking shooters out there, but it still looks no better than the first COD for this gen. I'll try to get my money's worth outta this game, but until they start really giving us something new/better, I think this'll be my last COD game for quite a while.
