I believe it will still be a FPS. I've heard people say oh it looks like BF3, or it sounds like blah.

Listen to the words that Woods says. It seems as though this will be more along the lines of terminator than anything else, man vs machine for a good portion.

The vehicles are just manned robots, not very out of the ordinary, my cousin fly's reaper drone missions in afghanastan(comfy stationed away from conflict).

They always talk about the new improvements they have, but I am positive that all vehicles and robots will be killstreaks.

Also it is my understanding that a large portion of the game will take place in flashbacks.
It definately should spruce up the gameplay, which is outdated and simply reused so many times.

I would love to see tactics back in a videogame, something that has been gone since, say Rainbow six.

Pleased to see it's not set as far into the future as I feared, so it doesn't look like we'll be running about with laser guns & death rays as I had first presumed.

I'll reserve judgement till I hear/see more but I'm more interested now than I was when I'd seen the screenshots.

What I'm really looking forward to is the multiplayer trailer.

Not bad trailer, setting it in the near future may just be the overhaul the series needed. It's not a day 1 purchase for me yet but it certainly got me curious, and I still haven't played the first Black Ops.

Yeah, we'll be waiting a while.

I also read a rumor they're looking into ways to bring in zombies into a mp mode.

You know what would be cool? A MP game mode where it's team vs team in deathmatch and zombies running around the map trying to kill both teams.

Call it UNDEAD CARNAGE.

I like that idea.

A MP game with zombie bots running around would be choice.

Why stop there? Why not have the zombies be controlled by other players?

I can see it now, I jump out of a second story window to avoid gunfire, land right next to a zombie that rips my head off, the controller smashed in frustration....

I thought about that but meh, I like the idea of zombie bots better.

It'd be too much like L4D if you had player controlled zombies.

If the next zombie mode uses famous figures again, who do you want?

Since it's partially in the 80s, maybe Saddam Hussein? Or would that be too taboo?

Damn, the stuff they're doing with the campaign & the new single player mode sounds fantastic. If they're revamping the campaign that much, the multiplayer must be in for some new surprises.

They said all the multiplayer stuff took place in the future.

Edit: Which doesn't necessarily preclude a Zombie Hussein I guess... Just sayin'...

Day one preorders for Black Ops II are 10X higher than the first BLOPS and 40% higher than MW3.

Anonymous has a beef with Activision now. Why? It’s because of the Black Ops 2 trailer that was released recently. The trailer which you can see here, portrays the Anonymous organization as the enemy of the United States, which has pissed them off greatly.

God those guys are idiots.

They're pissed because they're being shown to be the villains, so to prove they aren't the bad guys, they claim they will disrupt a companies day to day operations, possibly causing a lot of CoD fans the world over to miss out on some CoD.
