Play Blu-rays at resolutions of 3840 x 2160.

by Scott Lowe
January 9, 2012

Today at its press conference at CES, Sony introduced three new Blu-ray players, including the BDP-S790, which offers support for 4K resolution upscaling.
For TVs that support it, the player can upscale Blu-rays to a resolution of 3840 x 2160. The BDP-S790, along with the BDP-S590, offer web connectivity for Netflix, Pandora, HuluPlus Amazon VOD, Crackle, as well as Sony's own Video and Music Unlimited services. Additionally, all of the new players have access to Sony's new Socialize platform, which allows users to post to Twitter or Facebook.
Finally, the company introduced the BDP-SX910, a portable Blu-ray player with an integrated 9-inch screen with up to four hours of battery life.

Or you could just play it out of a computer with a built in BD player and a good graphic card...

Haha, yeah right. I don't think the PS3 made a profit until 5 years after it came out.
