there should be .png files of those sparks floating around as often as they're used in movie posters, those would help.

^Indeed! I would use 'em. Kane, I like it. But the contrasting sharpness of the background with some of the blurry parts of Bane throw me off a bit.

Yeah I used this image for the spark fires and yeah, I tried to sharpen the Bane edges but it didn't work exactly as I hoped so I left it in.

just cleaned the sparks up for you... try using this, it should blend better

If you're using photoshop, try using the Screen blending mode

I did one of these for the Spider-Man trilogy so I did one for Batman as well. I use them as phone backgrounds usually.
