Spielberg might but it's really reaching. He's the producer of the Transformers series which had several comic lines before the movies were made.

Might want to edit your first post though just to make it 100% clear:

"Keep in mind, this is all Superhero movies, and not just Comic book movies."

That makes it sound as if anyone involved in a comic book adaptations also counts. The wording is a bit misleading even though most understood it. Writing something like:"Keep in mind this only applies to Superhero movies" would be far more to the point.

No mention of Chrisopher Evans, really?

Evans' career is interesting to me as it seems to in some way reflect the past decade and the types of block-buster roles that cast male actors of his age group, essentially comic book characters. Somehow though he managed to snag a ton of these roles in a varitey of projects, both in subject and budget.

Johnny Storm- Fantastic 4 films (2005) (2007)
Jake Jenson- The Losers (2010)
Lucas Lee- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010)

and of course

Steve Rogers- Captain America (2011) The Avengers (2012)

not to mention, the non comic based but very comic like Push.

Seriously this guy is all over the damn genre and personally I think always turns in at least a solid performance and in the case of Scott Pilgrim and Captain America, an amazing one.

Edit, just saw that the nominations are over. My point stands however.

Damn I missed this. I'd give lifetime achievement awards to Reeve for the most definitive superhero character & Nolan for what is likely to be the only super superhero trilogy! He'll have to wait till I've seen TDKR to officially pick up his award though. Some of the others aren't directors or actors or have made a flop to go with their successes or have only appeared as the lead in one top film.
