Nunchucks are much more than just sticks. Regular ol' sticks couldn't do **** though, imo.

And yah...having enough force behind a stone could do such, but the whole premise of "sticks and stones" doesn't sound threatening, so why would someone say they "may break my bones"? Lol.

Exactly. It was so much better.

But the new one doesn't have problems with lines not being raised or colors being bright. Colors are great and the black lines would look excellent if only they described spider-webs like in the Spider-man costume.

That's one thing I wish was different about the new suit...having black lines shaped more into a web-like pattern.

I think I like the shade of blue on the new suit better than the old, maybe the texture too, but I would have preferred the classic design.

The texture and colors are absolutely perfect.

Imo, the only thing Raimi has over Webb's suit is the overall design. That can count with the lines if it's such a big deal to everyone, lol, but the texture, the colors, the webshooters and even the eyes(I'm actually really loving them) are better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but... the overall design is like almost everything, is it not? I mean, of course details can make a whole world of difference, but if the overall designb is good, then it would, most probably, look good

There's only so much you can change in a suit without ruining it. Spider-webs in Spider-man suit are important the way the S symbol is for Superman. If you get that wrong, then something is not working. Cannot get the idea after turning spider-webs in Spider-man into random lines. Excuse me I cannot

I gotta say, for a suit that wanted to be different from the previous franchises - almost at any cost, I'll say - I'm amazed that the eyes, which are IMO a crucial part of the whole suit in terms of expression and personality, are so much like in the Raimi's suit. They're not exactly the same but they're almost exactly the same. A little smaller maybe, but the black frame and the shape look almost the same as the previous suit. I really thought they were going to go for something entirely different regarding the eyes.

It is very crucial, indeed, but even without the main design, I can still see Webb's suit and know it is Spider-Man. Do I wish they did use the overall design? Yes, I do, but...what can you do? It's there, it's done, lol. There's only room for wishful thinking.

Again, with the pattern of the webs/line, it's still something I can tell is Spider-Man, but I do wish the makers of the suit put more thought into the lines because they obviously don't look like a web pattern, but actually the better look of that "webbing" is in the mask area. But, honestly, I think when it gets down to just the straight lines and everything, it could only do so much when it's on a suit that breaks off a lot and tries to look more lankier than Raimi's. That comes to the actual overall design as well.

Raimi's look more silver while Webb's looks black and a little thicker.

Not perfect, but yeah. What it could look like. I'd like it if the black seams/lines on his legs were worked into the belt to outline it or something.

Mainly the two last legs could go down towards the belt. Yah, I could see that.

And the red sort of all connects, except for the back red spider, and that's why I think a belt would be better, so connect all the red and what not. Just for the creators of the suit to give us a tease of a belt and not a full one confuses me, lol.

I did this in Photoshop in 10 minutes. I made something horrid look acceptable. This wouldn't be the best suit, but when I compare this to the original I just feel cheated. They truly gave us some **** design in my opinion, and minor tweaks could have made it okay. I can't imagine how this would look with webbing (not globe lines). I didn't feel like doing those though.

All of them. The lines ares too straight instead of going with the arm musculature, the new spider, the ugly lenses, the horrible blending of the legs and shoes; I don't care if it was a 10 minute thing, doesn't mean it has to be half-assed.
