Most of the ones I listed were Ford Models (you can check me on that, but I am right)... and I wouldn't call Kate Upton big in the field. Might be popular right now, but she's no top supermodel. My point is that you shouldn't say that models can't be actors, because some of the most popular actors were models (Chris Reeve anyone?).

We're talking about her, so she's famous enough as a model.

It is possible to make a name for herself as an actress, but once you're a household name in one sense, it's hard to switch. People won't take her seriously. Do we think of Rosie Huntington-Whitely as a model or an actress?

Ashton Kutcher made his name as a model. Many actors and actresses do. You may not remember them but that is because most of them modelled before you were paying attention to that kind of thing (some of them back in their teens and young twenties).

Pitt and Jolie both did as I recall too.

Also, I think, Cameron Diaz.

And Halle Berry...

And Charlize Theron for sure...she was rather big as a model.
