Still don't like it .... and still too slimming for how I've always envisioned an on-screen Cap.

I was referring to his suit in general with that comment, not specifically the cowl/hood.

After watching the new trailer I say it's "good", not that I ever thought the suit was bad in the first place (I thought it was fine).

You know, I'm just so distracted by Cap's muscles, I hardly notice the suit. Sometimes, I just pretend it's not there!:P

I'm just glad the more I see of this film the more I see Cap not wearing his mask/cowl.
Problem now is how will they repair this situation for the sequels? I say, just have Cap personally choose to return to his WWII costume. Nobody will complain. |

If you have your way Alexei, there will be no sequels because these movies will suck and bomb remember? So obviously you don't care.

I think I see what you're getting at, but even if he wore no mask, the position of Evans chin As he is breathing in there would cause that. ANYBODY's neck would.
I'd like to think I have a pretty decent neck/jawline, but I can achieve the same 'double chin' look. Even Bale had that happen to him in the Batfilms.

That might have been the stunt double for Chris Evans in that photo.

IMO the new CAPTAIN AMERICA outfit is excellent! The issue is that it's slimming and Chris Evans isn't very muscular. Plus the helmet distorts the head to body proportions.
If you look at the forest scene in the trailer CAP's head actually looks a bit VFX (IMO) modified and it works. A little VFX modification in post-prod is all that is necessary to smooth out the minor issues. It looked great in the trailer. |

They dropped the ball here. He looks great without this new helmet on, Evans has a great jaw line. |
