If they kill Stacy at the end of this film...how effective do you think his death is going to be? I mean, when Ock killed Stacy it was pretty tragic. That dialog between George and Peter was pretty memorable. Especially when he tells Peter that he knows he is Spider-Man.

That's going to be a little weird if he is sending out this man hunt knowing it's Peter the whole time. I just feel the development of the relationship might not be as strong as it should be. I thought his death should have been saved for the sequel.

Oh well, I trust in Webb. Though I'm still a little skeptical on if it is Stacy's funeral. I thought maybe it might been Connors funeral. I have a feeling Lizard will be dying at the end of the film. And not in the same style where Raimi killed off all of his foes. I'm thinking Lizard might have to die.

Though, I think Rhys confirmed somewhere that he goes through multiple transformations. And in the trailer Connors admits that the Lizard comes out through aggression when threatened. So he has the ability to morph back and forth.

*And I know this might be reaching but the cops could be present out of respect for Captain Stacy's wishes. Kinda like showing respect to his daughter because this was her boss who she had a great relationship with?

very effective, specialy when Peter will dating with Gwen, and he couldn't save her father (if this is happens). I am more interesting what will happend with Connors, will he at end of the movie survive and kept Peter secret about his identity, will Gwen forgive Peter, and will she Mary Jane appear at end of movie. Then you have in sequel complicated Peter personal life with new friend (in that time just friend) Mary Jane, Gwen (still his high school love), maybe he will be friend also with Harry... How everything in this movie is connected with Osbourne's, you can slowly throw whole story about Green Goblin, then Gwen will die... you know what i mean

There's no if, it's definitely his funeral.

His death will still be pretty powerful. In the leaked plot line I think he dies whilst pushing somebody out of the way of falling rubble and he dies in Spidey's arms or something. Maybe that'll be when he says that he knows he's Peter.

I have trouble believing Flash would be attending Uncle Ben's funeral.

You know, Flash doesn't stay a douche forever. He does eventually become one of Peter Parker's closest friends. They might even fast track him on this movie and humble him a little bit.

So whoever's funeral it is, Flash being there might tell you a little bit about his character progression. I for one am pretty happy that he isn't like Raimi's Flash, who looked like he was 35 and only showed for a few minutes on screen to act popular-ish.

Sally Field isn't in any of the set pictures for that scene, so it's definitely not Ben's funeral.

Capt. Stacy will probably die, but Ben dying in TASM1, Capt. in TASM2, and then Gwen in TASM3 sounds better to me. But as long as his death is good, and you feel for him, then I'm fine.

That batch of set photos with Gwen and Peter talking at the Peter's door gave me the idea that it will be the final scene from the film with Gwen being pretty upset about Pete's lack of attendance at her father's funeral.
