It became apparent that Rock would be competing in a match in Summerslam of this year and in WrestleMania 29, but I'm not saying the "best of three" is still on the list, even though it was rumored a while back ago but also scrapped, so who knows, so I'm just guessing about Rock and Cena going at it for the other next two PPVs. And the way I can see it happening is Rock winning at his hometown, and putting Cena over in the next two. For WM 29, with Rock and Cena both having a win, I could see them even adding a stipulation just to end "all questions" on who's better and that is where Rock "officially" passes the torch to Cena even when Cena pretty much had the torch many years beforehand.

I bet after RAW was over, Rock and Cena were probably laughing together over the work they put into that segment and how it was going to get everyone talking. I doubt this is a HBK/Bret Hart situation where they really do hate each other in real life as much as they do on TV (even though they're trying to create that kind of feel), and they probably planned and discussed everything they did in that segment, from Rock putting notes on his arm to Cena calling him out on that and everything else that happened. They are professionals and they know how to work us. They know exactly what they are doing.

Oh, you know they would. I mean, Dwayne even mentioned John had his number and I'm sure they do and talk a lot when we don't hear it or see it on Twitter.

How is Cena putting Eve over? Her heel turn is basically because they don't have the balls to turn him heel, or have him change character much so she's just something else to distract the audience to forget about that horrible feud with Kane. Cena didn't start pushing Ryder until people were complaining about him never putting anyone over. His first tweet about him was in response to putting guys over, so it's not like he was being the locker room warrior that he claims he is. With Punk it wasn't a Cena thing. Punk cut that awesome promo and that pushed him like crazy. Sure Cena lost to him, but that's not like Cena was pushing for Punk from the get go. With Miz he didn't even beat Cena clean because the Rock interfered in the match and cost him the win. Miz is a whole different story because he's been booked poorly. I'm not saying that Cena is Hulk Hogan or Triple H were he buries guys, but he hasn't been putting guys over to talk about fighting for the locker room. Jericho puts guys over clean all the time. The Undertaker used to do the same thing. Cena doesn't seem like the type that actively keeps guys down, but he hasn't said a damn thing about his clean streak of blowing through guys and never selling anything. It's not like Vince wouldn't listen to him anyway. He's the top guy in the whole damn company, so he can't play the card of being there for the guys when he hasn't used his influence to get anyone over besides himself.

Cena is going out of his way to be a douchebag in this feud so I hope The Rock kicks his ass at Wrestlemania.
As for the Wrestlemania 29, its predictable and such a waste. I'd rather see The Rock wrestle - you know somebody else on the roster. |

Bullcrap. Cena let Punk kickout of two AA's and breakout of the STF at MITB. Cena never kickedout of a GTS: he let Punk look strong when he easily could have buried Punk and killed his push.

There was also talk of Cena helping Evan Bourne get a push but Bourne ruined that with his being Paul London 2.0 and enjoying fake weed too much

I don't get how Cena's being a douchebag to the Rock. This is war of the words. If anything, Rock and Cena are being douchebags to each other. And personally I'm loving it. I like Cena when he's serious, and I like that he threw Rock off with his lines. Maybe that'll cause the Rock to get more serious in his promos instead of rambling off jokes and playing catchphrases with the crowd. At least I hope so. And I'm sorry, but when did Undertaker put guys over clean? It's rarely been done, and in most case it's always been tainted in some way.

Rock has called Cena everything under the sun, belittled him as a man, cost him the WWE title and attacked him at Survivor Series when Cena shook his hand......and yet Cena's the douchebag?
![]() As for the notes it isn't a big deal, but Cena calling him on them and Rock getting flustered were clearly not just part of a work. Austin vs Rock was very haphazard and look at the heel turn, so awkward because Rock and Austin were kicking out of finishers at 1 and in truth JR sounds like he wasn't sure exactly what Vince was doing, heel turns are quick, not awkward and 5 minutes after Vince hands Austin the chair with JR still acting confused. Plus Austin hurt Rock with the chair shots as he overdid it as their adrenaline was skyrocketing, apparently Rock had little feeling in one arm and both legs for about 20 minutes post-match.. Exactly how I felt.

I didn't know about the strong chairshots. That's rough. I hope it doesn't get like that with Rock/Cena.

RAW did a 3.1. The 1/30/12 show with Punk vs Bryan, Cena/Kane/Ryder/Eve, and Undertaker's return drew a 3.5. I was expecting a bigger rating for last night.

I haven't been excited for the Rock's return in a while now. Also, he's only made one really good movie in the last year (Fast Five, which I thought was a fun thrill ride. I enjoyed his fight scene with Vin Diesel, wasn't disappointed by it). Too bad his last movie sucked.

You know, you thought I was a Rock fanboy, but you really sound like a Cena fanboy.

I did not watch Raw last night, so did they acknowledge Chael Sonnen in attendance?
