Bethesda is also a publisher. They have other games to pimp.

Can't play the game, because something's wrong with the Steam servers. -_-

Sadly. But with all the Money I've been saving since I use Steam, I can tolerate it.

My Companions questline glitched on me. I cleared Valtheim Towers really early in the game I think on my first exploring session and now have a mission to kill the Silver Hand leader there (Striking the Heart from Aela). The quest marker leads to the middle of the bridge which is empty. Quite annoying as it's the last thing I was planning to do in the game till the DLC (last achievement as well) so not the best way to finish a great game.

I think you have to wait like an in-game month for enemy NPCs to reappear.

I've just seen this bloody bug listed on the Skyrim wiki thing (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Striking_the_Heart) as unfixable except on pc using console commands. Maybe there'll be an update to fix it. I could do the whole thing from scratch with a new character but I wanted my main guy to be head of all the guilds. ![]() ![]() Thanks though

Do the Steam servers need to be working even to play single player games that you've already downloaded? (Sorry don't know how it works).

I played it a little bit when I first got it but really the last 6 weeks I have gone for it and nearly all my free time when I'm at home has gone into it. Up to 4/5 hours on weeknights and maybe 8 hours on free Saturdays/Sundays. I guess that would be about 230 hours!

![]() 230 hours on one character? or 230 hours on ALL characters so far? The most hours i've ever put on a single character was probably around 100 hours. And that was back on FO3. On Skyrim probably a little less, since i've always got the itch to start over or go back to another character. Edit: ah...misunderstood your post. Strained eyes explained it better. |

All my hours are on one character (I only have one character). And I am probably a lot slower than most of you at this game so in terms of efficiency you should probably halve it

I don't mean to sound like a PC elitist, but playing Skyrim ( or FO 3,NV) on a PC... I've played FO3 on the XBox for a loong time before switching to the PC.And the PC version of that game, with all the mods, the G.E.C.K....it's like FO3 on steroids! it's a completely new experience! same with Skyrim. And you don't have to use the mouse and keyboards. i play with a wireless X box controller. If you have a decent PC, i say you have to at least try it.

These kind of games I have no doubt are a whole lot better on PC for many reasons. It's definitely in my future (although I'm probably never giving up XBox either ).

I think I have 141 hours on my main character. I only did one guild with him though.

Another thing i'm always curious about...
Do all of you play as male or female? and why? For some reason, ever since FO3, i always play as female ( i'm a guy).As for the reason why...i'm always more partial to strong female characters wheter it's the movies, books and comics, so.. |

I've played as a male with all of my characters. One of the reasons being that every marryable male NPC fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. I also feel a male character fits better in the story than a female.
When I started Kingdoms of Amalur, I picked a female "dark elf" and played as a thief/mage. |

Just go the Lesbo route! ![]() I agree with you though, all the males looks like they've been beaten with the ugly stick all day long. The only halfway decent looking males are those two werewolves bros...but they wear too much eye make ups. |

You can see how many hours you've played in game as well. Mine is about 97 hours
