Not just limited to the comic world, but now you can bring your favorite novel, graphic novel, short story, etc characters to life! Any genre is allowed!

RULES:
* Contest is open to everyone.
* Submit / post your entry here in this thread.
* DO NOT swipe, trace or steal the artwork of another artist and pass it off as your own. This is for ORIGINAL works. References are fine, but copying/tracing is not. Always credit your references.
* Do not post Works In Progress in this thread. Make your own thread for that This thread is for your final submissions
* Also, please do not spam the contest thread by re-posting / quoting your entry multiple times
* Photo Manipulations are allowed
* One entry per user.

Was always partial to the Cheshire Cat so that I have a sample of though it'll change a bit

I guess I'll kick this off... I Thought I would do my version of the half way point between the transformation between Dr. Jekyll, and Mr Hyde. I call it "HYDEing Beneath"

ComicChick if entries are slow here - and they might be may I suggest extendding this one past MARCH? I'm not even sure I'll have time to complete my entry this time for sure because making a new one though who knows

I never really care on winning these things I just like adding to them so more people see it

I'm pretty wrapped up in work right now, so I didn't have time to do something fresh, but turnout looks a little low so far so I decided to enter an older piece.

It's a modern take on the 'Wizard of Oz' gang. I added a few references to different 'Oz' titles, and even a few references to Stephen King's 'Dark Tower' Series which heavily references 'Oz'.

So The Oz gang go "GOTH"? they need a bit more BLACK and Upside down crosses, and have quotes about PAIN

It is multiple images and two backgrounds. There are a total of 32 different layers to get the final image. If it is an issue with everyone I do have a back-up piece I am still working on that I could enter.

PHOTOALTERATIONS - The Watches / clocks / Hair on Alice, alice clothing, and mad Hatters hair/clothing , the cheshire cat, Bows, Mad hatters Hat, Rabbit head / hands, umbrella + door, tweedle Dee and tweedle Dums Hats
(Alterations usually take place)

Used images - back wall Public D or freeware sketches - NOT MY ART
All main characters MY ART

Forget Narnia. I want to use this one. It is a poster that I made using various Potter images and a few stock images. I have a filtered version too in my art thread, but people seem to get bent out of shape over that.
