I know, he's probably not. But I was bored and it was fun to write. Sorry for the excessive length.

I actually agree with you on this. I bought Serenity BR and it's one of my favorites sci-fi movies. When i mention it here it's in terms of scale. Thanks for giving the correct wording, "small movie feel". Touche. Characterization, none of us know that. I fear they're going to blow it. I couldn't be sure. Why would a deferring opinion, here, be bad, incorrect or out of place? Why do you assume you're more of a Marvel fan than me. My fear comes out of my extremely high, almost 40yr. wait. Sorry, but the scene looks awful, implausible, (within the context, of course), and dissapointing. If it does represent an example of the movies tone, it's The Phantom Menace all over again!I'm being quite clear here guys.

I'm looking forward to this movie just as much as everyone else but I have to jump in and say raimar isn't a troll. You guys are just being fanboys and getting mad because he doesn't like how that scene played out. So what, not everyone is going to gush over every single thing about this movie.

I'm at work so I can't watch the scene at the moment, but I've never liked Scarjo as an actress and I think she doesn't look convincing at all when she trys to play it tough. So I might not even like the scene judging from the description.

You're just as ignorant for making this statement.

I know you're extremely Anti-Nolan but you're no different than the poster you're responding to by making such a claim.

Of course we don't know for sure yet, but yea, if we look at Serenity and Whedon's other works, i think we should be safe in terms of characterisation.

Yes I readily admit when Whedon was brought on board i was worried about the visuals, whether he could really deliver the spectacular and "shock and awe" type action scenes required for this movie. But come on, just look at the trailers. Some amazing visuals.

It's not that your opinion is wrong, it's how you present it. Ever heard the phrase "it's not what you say, it's how you say it"? You don't like the BW scene, fine. But it's hardly something to judge the whole movie on and being rude and immature isn't a good way to get your opinion across.

Right. 'We're just fanboys' because we call ******** when that guy calls the scene 'objectively bad', as if no one else is allowed an opinion.

You know better.

Na, he was being a rude and immature troll. Him not liking the BW scene wasn't the issue, it was how he said it, then made the claim that the whole movie would be crap and a bomb off of 30 seconds of footage.

5 or so long winded walls of text about how the entire movie will be an abject failure in every way, and how every aspect of the 30 second clip is "objectively" awful. That's trolling, my friend

I don't recall him saying the entire movie is going to suck in each and everyone of his posts. Maybe I read too fast.

Disagreed profusely. I'm not a fan of Marvel and am watching these films with a skeptical eye, I also found the clip in question so-so... however, raimar's first post had troll stamped all over it. There's honestly no debate about that, it was one of the most ridiculous, extravagent and inane reactions I've read on this forum... so much that I was honestly convinced it was a parody at first.

He's entitled to his opinion, but he should have at least had some class about it, as with the way he chose to present his case all that stood out was incoherent rambling and screaming about how the film is doomed to fail (i.e trollbaiting on an avengers board). It really was just a stupid post.

Ugh...

Everyone, COOL IT!!!

I am too busy for this right now, but I will say this...I will be on later...I will read from the previous pages and onto this one, and I will be punishing people who deserve it...so I would recommend you all cease and desist now, otherwise I issue you an infraction for it when I get back on...sooo....up to you.

My "recommendation", proceed in a civil manner.

Yeah I didn't know the link was to CBM, but long story short there isn't link posting to CBM of any kind.
