IMO that is the most plausible the CK disguise can ever hope to be.

Also Brandon widen his eyes as Clark and squints them as Superman. :o

Both Snyder and Goyer said they weren't fit for Superman and didn't "get it". Guys, do you think they're actually involved in this production, or are merely public stand-ins?

I know many people here do not like Routh, Singer and Superman Returns but to me Routh did a good job of making the two personalities look as different as possible (that is Clark Kent and Superman.)

I don't think I've ever insulted anyone here and if anyone thinks or feels so, they are over sensitive (like the world today in general, everyone up in arms if you as much as look at them the wrong way and that's a big problem with today's society). Like, I would have every right to see you saying the bolded as insults and by your criteria they surely are. I've contributed my share to discussions here and made some serious and light hearted posts but I don't see anything even remotely verging on me being a troll, much using less childish insults. I see A LOT more posts here that could fit that criteria EVERYDAY and nobody is trying to ´´sort`` anyone out like you are attempting here with me. You have no right to tell me how to ´´handle myself`` on a forum. If you don't like my posts I suggest you use the ignore function, that's what it's there for.

I only watched the Superman part. Maybe I misinterpret it, but I didn't get that he implied he was doing away with the glasses. He made that comment to show how the public perceives Superman as being silly and he wants to make him relevant and wants people to take him seriously. We'll see.

I dont think he'll ditch the glasses though. Just use it better, like elgaz suggested. Or not focus on it too much. Like mentioned, people just take it for granted.

But I kinda hope they do focus on it, like in Birthright where Clark I believe actually studies acting.

They're involved in it...WB/DC want to change Superman and how he is perceived by the general public, so the best way to do that is to put him into the hands of people who readily admit that they don't get the character.

The glasses thing is the last bit of proof that I need. No glasses, no nebbish Clark Kent=no Superman.

I dont know exactly how old that interview is, but the glasses could've been added since.
And just because Snyder ridicules them doesnt mean he wont use them. He'll probably add to it though.

Like I've said before I really don't think he's gonna need them until the end of the film like Superman Earth One.

On another note rewatched Immortals for the first time since I saw it at the cinema and once again I loved it.

I wonder how many people praised Brian Singer to the high heavens as being the best director ever to be involved with Superman because of the great job he did with X-men and X-men2...and then after SR came out all the praise just disappeared.
As for the glasses, I think that if a director chooses not to incorporate them then he possibly does not understand the character or the history of the character.

I didn't...I knew Singer didn't get Superman because of his obsession with the very flawed Donner movies, and I thought his X-Men movies were very underwhelming and poor.
