Yeah after watching the second season of A:EMH, it's pretty safe to say EMH Thor is ALOT more powerful than MCU Thor.

I would imagine so. I actually thought filming starts in August.

*Early, early casting reports for Enchantress: Alice Eve, and Brit Marling.

*Kat Dennings is *not* returning. However, a major plot point revolves around Jane Foster's co-worker in astrophysics. You might have heard of him: his name is....

...Dr. Strange.

Yup, Stephen Strange is an astrophysicist instead of a surgeon. He's Jane's co-worker, and part of the plot involves him somehow acquiring the Eye of Agamotto, which, you'll remember, was in Odin's treasury room.

*Marvel apparently really, really REALLY wants Joel Edgerton for Strange.

*The "rest of the Thor cast" is returning, so pretty much everyone, I guess. With Fandral so far being the only recast.

It's from the last episode of Avengers: EMH's 2nd season, Spidey was all worried then Thor showed up and started taking on Galactus.

Dude Thor is such a badass throughout season 2 of the Avengers, in my opinion THAT is how Thor should always be portrayed.

Yeah, I don't think he specifically said "astrophysicist," just "co-worker" of Jane's. Neurosurgeon would work, but would that make him a co-worker of Jane Foster....? Maybe she's had "brain problems" since Thor, or else she and Strange are old alumni of the same college or something...?

In any event, I'm really on board with Strange getting introduced in Thor 2, if this proves to be true. Thor is kind of the gateway between magic fantasy and science fiction in the MCU, and Strange represents a *great* transition point to the full-fledged fantasy aspect of the Marvel U. Plus, the Eye of Agamotto has already been prominently and famously teased in the treasury room in Thor, so....yeah.

I just wouldn't want Dr. Strange to steal Thor's thunder, so to speak, and take up too much face time. Supporting character, yes; co-star, no. This is still a Thor film, and needs to remain such.

I would expect him to just be Fosters co worker and help out in a non-magical way. He needs his own movie to open that door.

My only issue is they'll seemingly be ignoring a large amount of Strange's origin. I want him to train for years to learn magic, not have some artifact just up and give it to him. Maybe he gets injured and the Eye is what eventually leads him to Tibet after the events of Thor 2?
