The only negative things I've read in reviews so far is that the graphics quality has been dropped somewhat in order to fit all the content in; and that the game modes in the game that utilize the Vitas features are a little hit-and-miss. Other than that, it sounds like an excellent port.

Yeah, the character models took a hit. I figured that would be the case. They did fit in tons of content and kept it a strong 60fps, which is awesome. I was wondering how it looks in motion.

Was NO ONE paying attention at TGS last year? MGS: Rising was confirmed to release on Vita back then as was MGS HD WITHOUT Peace Walker.

Graphics took a hit, for sure. I guess I would rather it move at a smooth 60 fps but Johnny Cages fro kind of bothers me...

Maybe we can get a patch that makes them look a bit better.

It's a nitpick though, for a hand held it looks damn good. Close to the HD Collection of GoW I'd say.

To be fair that was the old Rising which has since been scrapped with a new team creating a very different game. There hasnt been any word on Revengeance coming to Vita till now as far as Im aware of

Ok... Remember how I just said the graphics took a hit? Well.. they may not look as sharp as the PS3/360 versions of the game.. HOWEVER there's SO much going on during the stage fights that the character models looking a bit lower qaulity compared to the console versions that it doesn't matter.

They still take damage, there's still dragons flying over a city while being chased by a helicopter, there's still a fight on the second bridge at the Pit level.

Seriously, this game does SO much that not looking EXACTLY like the PS3 or 360 version isn't even a factor for me now.

Yep. At first, I wasn't, but I am now since I have seen more of the game and the addition of MP is intriguing.

No it wasn't. TGS was in September. It was during the same show that they said to expect big changes to the game, with a picture of Raiden wearing a hard-hat.

The Platinum Games announcement of Revengeance didnt happen till December at the VGA's about 3 months later though

Yeah but by that time the new game had already been in development for six months or so. The original Rising had already been canned when TGS rolled around.

That may be true but only the developers knew that by then, not we gamers. Nothing has been stated about Revengeance being on Vita till nw. People finally got clairification on something that hasnt been confirmed since that announcement

I might wait a little before getting Resistance; if at all. TBH, that video looked incredibley bland. Maybe I might check the reviews first. I just hope BioShock, COD, and Killzone don't take too long to get to Vita!
