Plus he said he is just using his normal voice, which to me does NOT sound like the leader of a group of ninjas lol. Hopefully they tweak it in post

I am a big goonies fan but he was a little bit of a sissy as Sam the hobbit and did not sound tough at all

raph is supposed to have a thick new york accent

I think the Hobbits can be viewed as 'intentionally' gay. (Especially in Return of the King) But at the sometime, they're the most asexual characters in the book. Maybe they're just very enduring.
