I love everything about this post

Hey I've said that before

I dont think being lgbt is a choice. It wasn't a choice for me but if it is it wouldn't matter. Whether its a choice to be lgbt or if we are born this way, being lgbt is still a good and wonderful thing and there is nothing bad or sinful about it

So it really doesn't remotely matter

And if I could make a choice I'd still choose to be a lesbian. I wouldnt want to change my sexuality to straight if someone paid me a million billion dollars.

So wait.

Does Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman's relationship not interest you at all because they're straight?

I'm sorry, but one of them could be a Minotaur, and their union would be interesting to me. It's like awesome coupling with awesome.

Oh? And you know who else is awesome? Neil Gaiman's daughter Maddy. It's a whole family of awesome.

They're a real life couple not a fictional one CConn

I don't find heterosexual couples interesting to read about in fiction but in real life I'm happy for anyone who finds love no matter what their sexuality or gender and I think Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer seem adorable together

And they are indeed a fabulous family

I like couples of any kind if I like the characters, the relationship, and if I like them together.

Wonder Woman #8 preview!

That sly crooked genius bastard Azzarello! He asks for a skirted Wonder Woman, but DC says no because of the fans, but aha! "Battle armor" excuse always does the trick. Awesome.

I can't decide whether to stick with this or not

There's stuff that I dig but then there's stuff like the Amazons being evil boat rapists who taffy and then murder sailors

And then sell their sons into slavery

I'm not okay with the Amazons being okay with slavery

Oh come on. The first one I'll give you but the second is slavery pure and simple.
The Amazons could have done anything with those children but they purposefully traded them for weapons. They took away their choice when they handed them over to Hephaestus, no matter how well "mastah" treats them.

It's not slavery to live under a God who loves you and allows you to be an artist. Hephaestus and the Amazons knew they couldn't let the boys live or Hera would have ****ed things up, so this was the solution Heph found because he wouldn't want anyone to suffer the same fate as he had.

After reading this thread I really want them to drop the dour war of the gods and replace it with a groovy, sci-fi, Lady Gaga inspired Wonder Woman. Preferably with a Peter Milligan who's firing on his weird 90's Vertigo engines.

Yes to this

I would read the hell out of a comic book like this it would be so fun

And they should bring back the amazons and give them all their wacky gadgets like the purple healing ray back and also their kangaroos

Paradise Island should be an island of wacky super science and kinky kangaroo riding lesbians

The armor in issue 8 was my initial design concept when Brian and I decided to work on the book. At the time, we were unaware of a line-wide relaunch, so for us it was going to be a very clear signal to the readers of where we were taking the character. We knew we were going to push the warrior angle, and I wanted the armor to recall the classic Wonder Woman colors and design ideas. Her hair is tied up with gold rope, like her lasso. The WW symbol is still an eagle, but the wings point upward, and feels more like a crest than a logo. While I’ve had a lot of fun drawing Jim Lee’s costume for Wonder Woman, Brian and I both liked this design and hoped to use it somewhere, and this little trip to hell was the perfect opportunity.

Go figure DC would be afraid of a battle skirt. The design is ok but if it were her main costume would need some modifications.

I wouldn't want it to be her regular costume but it looks really neat for when she's getting ready to go into battle like she is right now

Against that creepy jive mutha Hades

No, bad Mysti! We can't have our crazy fun! Now hush and enjoy your humorless superheroes.

Well, she has the voice of a goddess so I bet it would sound wonderful. Like, super voice it would probably destroy evil incarnate.

There's always hope that Morrison might bring some of that crazy fun back

Final Crisis would be so much better if it ended with Wonder Woman defeating Darkseid by singing Born this Way

You're assuming that he's not letting them leave if they want, which hasn't been stated one way or the other. The majority of them seem to want to stay.

I'll agree with that, but that's also the problem with a lot of this run. It goes so far for shock value that nothing holds up in the interactions when you think about it.

That entire Amazons on the boat scene basically involves you just assuming every man in the world will just drop his pants as soon as he sees a naked woman. So what happens if some of them say no? They just murder people at no matter what I guess.
