I was already looking forward to this movie, but...Theron channeling Jack Nicholson?! I'm there.

^Just Theron looking hot as hell was enough to get me there but this actually really looks good.

It seems like they changed the names of the dwarves. At one point they were named after Roman leaders.

Who are they named after now? Famous artists?

Snow White's dwarves vs. Bilbo's dwarves in a battle royale. Who comes out?

I'll need to see their fighting abilities in both movies before making that judgement.

If I had to make a judgement now I'd say Bilbo's, since there are more of them.

I really want to see this.

I still question the casting of Stewart as someone who is supposed to surpass Theron in terms of beauty, but Theron looks great, Hemsworth looks the hunky warrior part, and I really like the visuals, especially the creatures in the forest.

What I like about Charlize Theron is that she's hot, and she can also act. That's not a combination you always get (Megan Fox?). Also, she doesn't just coast along on her good looks. In fact, at times (Monster) she deliberately chooses roles that make her unattractive. That, to me, shows she's a serious actress who wants to be taken seriously, not just be eye candy.

Stewart will never ever be hotter then Theron. I want the Queen to win due to Stewart being cast. Won't happen. But at the most there will be a set up for a sequel I would say

My problem with Stewart in this movie is simply due to the fact that the movie itself says Snow White is supposed to be hotter then Theron which she is not. I guess they should have went for a not so hot actress for the Queen to make that part of the story believable & it does take away from it

not many actresses are hotter than charlize not even someone like jen lawrence is even in the same leauge of attractiveness

and this is'nt america's next top model competition lol

snow white has youth and inner beauty over the queen who is getting older and older and only has her looks because she steals the hearts of the girls in her kingdom and has a ugly heart

as the film goes on the queen slowly looks more like her true hag form

I know which is why they should have not went for a hot actress for the Queen. If the script is expecting the audience to believe that Stewart is hotter then Theron. Then they made a bad choice. The Box Office will tell for this movie

In the Disney version, is Snow White really hotter than the evil Queen? Hell to the no.

Quite a few things, yeah. The basic outline is there, but the differences I've identified include...

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
The Dwarfs' names.

Prince Charmant becomes Prince William.

Either Snow White's father, King Magnus, is alive by the time of the final battle or Ravenna is much more powerful before her marriage to King Magnus, because there's no battle between him and Ravenna's shadow army in the Script.

The Sanctuary is not present in the Script.

Snow White immediately escapes to the Dark Forest, and the Huntsman follows her without really knowing what Ravenna wants with her or who she is, and they're immediatelly attacked and go on the run, whereas in the Script the Huntsman knows Ravenna is going to consume Snow White's beauty, captures her, brings her back to the castle, finds out Ravenna killed his wife, and then they go on the run again to the Dark Forest.

Among others.

Ron Meyer said that while the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman doesn’t appear to lend itself to a sequel, Universal thinks it can do more movies based on the character of the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) if it is successful.

It looks like the Studio knows that people won't be seeing this movie for Stewart. Other wise they would want sequels with her. If this one is successful

That's kind of strange. I hadn't really thought about a sequel being in the works but I think it would just be weird if Snow White wasn't in it at all.

Since the character of Huntsman is tied with the fable of Snow White, I don't really see how they can make a sequel of one without the other. Then again, they did a sequel based on Perseus in WOTT, so anything is possible in Hollywood.
