I'm listening to the O&A show from when TDK came out and they just keep raving about how good it is and making fun of Bale's Clint Eastwood Batman voice. Hahaha ahhhhh memories.

Anyone know that Claire Alys Julien, Wally Pfister's daughter, is in TDKR? Well I didn't until checked the cast listing on IMDb today (must be a pretty new addition to the website) and did some digging.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4903197/

It's good to be a Pfister. In the batcave on the set of #darkknightrises

Quote:
@Incognitissima I'm not on IMDB yet because the first movie I've been in doesn't come out until July 2012, #TheDarkKnightRises

Quote:
@Incognitissima yeah I have a tiny role in #TDKR so it wouldn't be listed, just in the credits. Dunno about the other one

Nolan would never allow TDKR to be converted to 3D..his track record goes against all those grains. I call April Fools on this.

Even though it's a joke, Nolan has said that he does like 3D.

Oh, of course. Would never doubt that he would if it was done right. But all the same Nolan has never followed trends for the hell of it. I'm sure that if he felt 3D would contribute to the experience then he would go all for it.

All hail the Vested One

Benjamin Cole was cast as Dr. Sam Ellingwood in TDKR:

James Toynton as Bain's [Bane] Butler in TDKR? WTF

http://www.castingcallpro.com/uk/vie...ition=8&page=1

This is fun.

It was more the time until release that made me wonder. The time to convert it right is quite a bit (Cameron didn't do Titanic in just a few months), and I highly doubt that he'd sit well with a quick conversion process just to make the release.

Didn't Nolan say he doesn't like post-conversion 3D specifically?

Not sure, but Wally did say they did some tests for Inception and it was actually pretty good.

You'd need to have a subtle hand, though. Even Avatar was a bit over-depthy for me.

Who the heck wants promotion? That's so lame and unrealistic for a film like TDKR.

The Louis CK ones are definitely my favorite, but also look out for Patrice O'Neal and Joe DeRosa. Both are extremely funny guests. Patrice will just go off on some hilarious tirades, whereas with DeRosa, everybody makes fun of him, and he gets all emotional and blows up. Funny funny stuff.

Nolan has made no bones about the fact he hates 3D. Thank goodness I'm not alone.
