Eh, I liked him well enough as aquaman on smallville, not exactly who comes to mind for the role but its all about the voice in this case, so if he can get that down then it should be fine.

This.

Either way, I think this is a great choice. This is the first thing from this movie to make me excited.

It's mo-cap, so it's not 100% all about the voice.

Yeah. It's possible he might just be doing the mo cap, but he's likely doing both.

and if so, they are probably looking for actors who can do both parts.

also since were talking smallville, why not Shawn Ashmore for Donatello.

and Phil Morris as Splinter lol

They ain't getting voice actors for these roles, they're getting actors who can do the action via mocap as well. Ritchson is a crazy dude, so I can see him working out. Honestly, Jason Biggs does good work as Leo, so I figure the rest of the cast will be just as unexpected.

Thad Hamilton!!!

this guy is awesome in Blue Mountain State. i can definitely see him pulling off Raphael. he's got the right attitude for the part.

this casting choice actually pleases me. still not enough to get over Megan Fox as April though.

I don't really see it. I guess it depends on how Raph will be in this.

Far better casting choice than Fox.

This a better step in the right direction. Deadline said its like Avatar's motion capture. When hear Alan's voice, I think of Leo, but I guess him as Raph is alright.

This guy is hilarious in Blue Mountain State. I wonder if Raph will be less of a grumpy badass and more like the 80's cartoon version in this?

True, perhaps it will be similar to that. I like Raph to be less lighthearted than the other turtles.

He's not a bad actor. In fact he's pretty solid and his voice is perfect for Ralph.

Listening to his voice, I think I can hear a good Raph in the works. I'm sure he can pull off a tough Brooklyn accent (if they're goin in that direction). Hell, if you hear Josh Pais without his voice manipulation, you would never think Raphael, but low and behold he did it perfectly (as both the voice AND the body in the suit). Still, I can't get over the fact of where they're taking this movie, and that Megan is April.

If it's just voices they are after they should have gone with the animated movie cast.
