This thread is self-explanatory. What do you want the Ninja Turtles to look like?

No beaks, and don't make them grotesque looking.

More turtle-like than their previous incarnations, personally. No beaks though.

I'm not really sure what to expect out of this. What bothers me is that they'll be CGI.

Did you see Planet of the Apes?
I can't wait for a performance capture group of Turtles.

If it's WETA or ILM, I'm not worried too much. If it's Sony Imageworks, then we should all get worried.

CGI is definitely the way to go. You can do so much more now.

I think we've gotten much better but you just need the right people, the right amount of time, and the right director.

The work on Planet of The Apes is amazing. I suppose I prefer the suits and animatronics like the first film, it feels more tangible. If they looked great back in the 80's I'm sure it would look even better now.

I'm for animatronics as well, but let's face it: Only guys now like del Toro are willing to do it for some odd reason.

Could always give them a cameo, with people dressing up as turtles, a la the Dark Knight Batman copies.

I'd like to see something akin to this. An eastern/Japanese feel, with each turtle having his own look, and a more turtle like appearance.

I kinda like it because it's not overdone. Who's the artist again?

I'd like to see the turtles in different sizes myself. Anywhere from 5-7 feet.

7 foot is too much, man. 4 to 5 is fine though.

4? That's tiny. Okay maybe 7 is a lot, but if you want a hulking turtle. It's really not that tall, if average height is around six feet.
Most times the turtles are between five and six feet. It gets kind of strange how they are all the exact height in the TV shows. They did that to save money and time though. |

I liked the idea of Leonardo speaking Japanese to Splinter (since they're closest). Or throw in a few Japanese words.

I'm curious too see Leo with an American accent, with a slight Japanese undertone (without making it sound goofy). Kinda like...my friend who is Asian, first generation, but lived in a household where he spoke their tongue all of the time. Because of that, he was raised between both languages, which affect his native 'American' accent.
