Am I the only one who doesnt like Casey Jones at all? I guess it has to do with growing up with the 80s cartoon and that he wasnt in it, but I just think he so intrusive and hogging for attention that should be spent on the turtles instead :/

Actually, he was in two episodes of the 80's toon. He never took off his hockey mask and wanted to smash everything with his bat.

As much as I love Jon...and as much as he would probably OWN the role and do the role justice and live up to Koteas' performance...at 35 I'm not sure he is young enough....I mean I imagine Casey being Late 20's if anything

Dispositon: Braggart, cocky, cheerful, but annoying

Education : High School Dropout

Occupation : Building caretaker, Handyman

Personal Profile : Casey Jones is an alienated young man who lives by himself in a run-down apartment building. He makes a living if you could call it that, by fixing things in the apartment building and doing odd jobs.

Casey's only friends are the three TV sets he has going simultaneously and continuously. He works out with barbells all the time, while watching television. He watches all the cop shows and his views and attitudes are shaped by them. This makes him more than a little bit warped. He has the idea that the streets of the world are full of human slime and scum.

Donning an old hockey mask and carrying a golf bag filled with various clubs. Casey ventures out into the streets, looking for the human vermin who preys on the weak and innocent. On these creeps he will wreak his vengeance. Unfortunately, Casey has no sense of scale. Casey will treat a purse snatcher just as he would treat a murderer. He'll beat any criminal senseless or even to death.

Casey's fighting skills were learned mostly on the streets,though he did take some martial arts courses before being kicked out of class for being too brutal. Working out with weights all the time has given him a toned, muscular physique which helps him in his chosen pursuit.

Just a random thought,

I was watching " Boy Meets World " this morning, and for some strange reason, Shawn and Corey's Jr. High teacher , Mr.Turner, as Casey Jones popped in my head.

Sam Witwer. He's got the build and acting chops. Plus, he's 6'1. I'd choose him for Venom in TASM also.
