This was such a triumph in my eyes.

I just wish we'd gotten a better film to go with it.

I will never cease to wonder why Marvel couldn't wait a few years to do Avengers so we coulda gotten a proper origin film.

2012 coulda been the year of IM3 instead of Avengers.

I love the smell of a new Avengers thread in the morning.

With regards to Cap, his costume is fine, not perfect, but fine. Thor is my main focus anyway.

Ugh.

I liked the italian job...

Is it Johnston that doesn't want to return or Marvel that doesn't want him?

Who's the decent choice?

I'd only heard of the ludicrous bottom 3.

Why would waiting have mattered? You need Cap for Avengers.

Nolfi and the Community duo would both be very interesting choices

Gray not so much

We coulda gotten CAP 2 before Avengers - hence an origin picture that wasn't rushed & a proper sequel to consolidate Captain America as a hero.

I hope so. There was great allusion to it through Zola having him hooked up to that table. I just don't see how they can explain him surviving that fall.

Adjustment Bureau guy would do a good job with a Cap film that is more SHIELD/spy centric. Such as Winter Soldier, HYDRA or AIM.

The rest are garbage IMO

Directors rarely return for sequels. They don't sign the came extended contracts actors do.

To be fair, it's only a select few who are adamant about it being a terrible film, and by select few I mean one person.

As many faults as I found with the first film (all in the second half), a Cap sequel before The Avengers would neither make sense nor would it have fit into MS' production schedule until Avengers was coming out next year.

Here we go with Mr. Sensitivity.

NEWS FLASH: There are alot of people here who didn't like Captain America and there's nothing wrong with that.

The only way he even would have survived the fall would be if Zola experimented on him/augmented him. That can all be explained later on if need be, I'm sure that's why they left it ambiguous.

Ambiguous how though?

He fell. A long way. Augmented or not, even Steve would have been killed in that fall.

Not to pick apart your point...I just need clarification haha.

When cap rescues him at the HYDRA base. Bucky is strapped to a table in Zolas office and is muttering nonsensical stuff to himself.
