They finished shooting back in Feb I believe; they've been editing and in post production, as far as I know, since then.

The Avengers release seems to have riled everyone up about a JL movie.

IMO a JL movie is not the most important thing in the world right now just because there is an Avengers movie out. Nor should we diminish solo movies because we think a team up is the way to go. Solo movies will still be important to Marvel after the Avengers and solo DC movies can still be as fantastic an experience as a team up movie. (btw I've seen Avengers.)

Exactly.

And as someone who enjoyed Avengers but still prefer films like TDK and Watchmen because of their substance and depth, I'm much more excited about MOS (which has the creative minds behind both of those films on board) than I am about a possible JL movie that the studio will very possibly make a complete mess out of in their rush to copy Marvel.

FYI, I hope if they do make a JL movie it is nothing like Avengers.

I mean, it was great fun, but I don't think JL suits one liners and 'easy' villains.

As far as I can see, it was a discussion that didn't have a right or wrong.

Someone asked you to come in and 'back them up' in their opinion, and you made a lot of statements about your insider knowledge of Nolan and WB in order to support them, a lot of which really didn't have much to do with what was being discussed IMO.

I don't see where the resolution was because of that, sorry...

It's bad enough I have to wait until July before I can quit the job I hate and move out of the town I grew up in... but I also gotta wait till July for MOS trailer?

You're looking at it all wrong. Rather think of the MOS-trailer as your reward for having endured that job. Actually it sounds more like a bonus-situation, but whether it's your freedom or the trailer that's the bonus is up for you to decide.

Hmmmm MOS trailer or freedom from 2 1/2 years at a job I hate...

Honestly, if someone said to me I could have one of those two tomorrow, i'd choose the MOS trailer

But yeah, it's gonna be a good month July. TDKR, Amazing Spiderman, MOStrailer and moving to the city. Gonna be one seriouly happy bunny.

And as for Jamie's Twitter statement on viral marketing for MOS... don't do it WB. It's an unorthodox way of stirring interest for a movie, but don't do virals for MOS. Market it well, sell it hard to skeptics.

the slow moving TDKR trailer sadly looked boring and indeed stuck up it's own arse when shown before Avengers.
