Logan Lerman and Christian Slater definitely could either play son and father, or Lerman could pull off a younger version of the current Christian Slater if need be. Lerman looks so much like Christian in his younger years.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Koteas' role in A Harold and Kumar Christmas was original meant for Meloni, who's played different characters in the previous two films.
