yeah SW and Quicksilver seem to be left out in alot of the shows. I don't even recall them on the older tv toons.

Also for those of you who did not believe this show is in danger, check out the below paragraph from a craveonline article about the show:

" Loeb recently said, when comparing the two shows at an Ultimate Spider-Man press event, that "Earth's Mightiest Heroes has a tremendous following, and one of the things that's very unique about that show is that it was at a time prior to my coming in, and so it is a very serialized show. There are a lot of characters. What we wanted to do with Spider-Man and going forward is to tell stories that were individualized. Obviously, we want everybody to watch the show every week, but we also know that people's time is often taken that way, so DVR the show. But if you're not going to do that, then the idea is you will be able to catch up. I don't want anybody to sit down on Sunday mornings at 11:00 and suddenly feel like 'oh, I lost the last three episodes, so I don't really know what's going on.' With Spidey, the only part that is a two-parter is the pilot."

This is why Greg Weisman is still doing things correctly


His Gargoyles series had flashbacks to certain specific episodes before the episode airs.

Spectacular Spider-man and "Young Justice" all have/had an arc with callbacks to past episodes(Kent Nelson and Doctor Fate)

I will still give whatever they put out its proper due in terms of trying to convince me it's going to be good. But, at some point, if it sucks continually (like I expect it to) I will simply not watch. But, until then, Let's hope the momentum just continues to build into an awesome season 2 of EMH.

Oh lord. I really don't want an Ultimates cartoon. I don't really like the animation for EMH, but apart from that I think what they've set up is brilliant.

Vartha I PMd you, I have a lil present for you in relates to s2ep1.

Also you're very right here again. It's always a bit strange to me in DC no matter what they do with JLA/JLU in animation or the books there seems to ALWAYS be this mandatory Flash inclusion in the lineup. I've always found Flash a bit overrated if not redundant across the board. Like they'll bench Aquaman or Green Arrow or Black Canary even though their powers and abilities are not replicated by anyone.

In Aquaman's case it's like the 4 branches of the military with him being the Navy. He has dominion over 3/4 of the planet, invaluable, and there's only ONE of him. Wouldn't mind if Bruce Timm benched Flash and Martian Manhunter for a few films, they're redundant on the JLA and don't warrant that much exposure when Aquaman and Green Arrow have none on the blurays.

Let's say Aquaman IS included in a JLA (as he should always) then you have 4 or 5 characters with super speed incuding Flash with Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Aquaman (YES..he has super speed on land kids), and Green Lantern has some form of it too ring wise. So then WHY is The Flash ALWAYS such a staple in the league when his main powers are possessed by like 5 other main leaguers that can do many other things? Still can't qualify Flash's popularity, he's a weird one. Sort of a household name but can't launch a film or his own cartoon. I'd say Aquaman maybe bigger with the novice because of all SUPERFRIENDS exposure and the fact there's only ONE of him.

BUT when we get to Avengers in Marvel they have no super speedster on their main A-list team (not including QS). Cap has enhanced speed, IM sort has mach flight armors, Thor...ehhh not sure about hammer's speed thing but it's not played up or a factor, etc etc. So Quicksilver is in my book is waaaay more vital to the Avengers then Flash is to the JLA, but yet he's left on the sidelines all the time???? He's had guest spots on X-MEN, W-XMEN but it's always conflicted and he tends stray on the Brotherhood Side never turning the corner to full blown hero. I thought AEMH would surely have a Cap's Kooky Quartet episode or 2 but it seems as if it doesn't jibe with this season.

Don't do that. Don't be that guy that has to bring another character down just because the character he likes doesn't get the same amount of love as another. Flash isn't just a guy who can run fast anymore than Aquaman is a useless dude who talks to fish.

His power is speed. In all it's infinite uses. You'd do well to remember that s**t.

Aquaman is one of the most "shafted" superheroes of all time, it sucks to because he's actually more important than people give him credit for.

Liked! After losing Spectacular Spider-Man, I can't afford to see another great show go like this. We need at least another season! We need Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Hercules, Photon, the X-Men, Alpha Flight, Hellstrom, Doctor Strange, Sersi and the Eternals, Moonstone, Count Nefaria, a heroic Wonder Man, She-Hulk, Mr. Hyde, Titania, more Doom, the Thunderbolts, a Secret Wars arc, Civil War, what have you! So much goodness yet untapped... (Raise your hands if you'd love an animated Avengers vs Sinister Six throwdown)
