What is the timeline? I mean I would assume cap would go first but then surely parts of Thor take place centuries before cap?

Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Thor
Incredible Hulk

?????? I think i could be wrong i think Iron Man 2, Thor, Incredible Hulk all happen like simultaneously...while the end scene in Captain America leads directly into the Avengers..idk itd be hard to watch movies in chronoloigcal order...please correct if im wrong..this is just guessing from what ive seen here

Well according to the book, Thor and IM2 run similtainiously for the most part. and if you use Thor's CHILDHOOD that in itself is HUNDREDS of year before First Avenger lol
Cap technically does come before the other movies being set in the 40's but First Avenger is just one big flashback too lol

When I paged through the book, it looked like abriged versions of each movie. but they actually placed the events as they happened.

To me yeah, but it's like an abridged version of the movies too. They sort of skip some minor details to fit it all into the book, and did a good job too.
It's more like a Digest than a Novel, but has Avengers movie pics, Most we've scene, and a couple drawing of the characters as a group.

Will the timeline be explained in the movie?,Many of the GA are already confused with the post-credits scenes and now will be more with the thing about Banner in this film and his last transformation!

If i make a marathon of these movies i'll just watch them in the order they were released as i think it's the best order to watch.

THE MARVEL FILM UNIVERSE TIMELINE:

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

This should hopefully make it easier for many people to understand. Combined 'Fury's Big Week' and 'Avengers Assembled.'

It might be interesting to take all the movies and re-cut them into an all-day TV presentation, even incorporating some of the deleted scenes like Banner's suicide attempt. It would be akin to reading several comic titles at the same time as they were released monthly, jumping from one title to the next as each arc progresses.
