so....we know 2012 is bringing us Batman 1989,Joker 1989 , TDKR Bane, probably TDKR Batman and Catwoman too, and a re-release of the Tumbler...
but what does the future hold for us?! already announced is Batman Returns for 2013, with obviously Batman,Penguin, and Catwoman, plus the B89/ BR Batmobile... you guys (and gals) think we might get the Schumacher movies next? i'd personally love (and buy) Kilmer Batman, Two-Face,Riddler,and Robin from Batman Forever... B & R ? probably just a Mr. Freeze,if they made him...imagine how cool he'd look if they made him light up! |

I think since those movies were made to sell toys anyway it's only appropriate to give them the hot toys treatment. The Freeze figure idea you have is cool. They could actually do a lot of that like with the tires of the BF Batmobile and if they dared; a member of the neon paint gang lmao.
Seriously though I'd love a Bob the Goon figure. I'd honestly pay $300 - $400 for that. I'm probably the only one though.

I'm expecting the Keaton Batman in the mail this week, I've been super-excited for the Bane figure since it was teased in January, and I'll be adding Returns Keaton and Penguin when they are announced in the coming months. As for the future? Their Batman line has to be one of their most profitable, so I'd love to see a Ra's, Scarecrow with multiple outfits/heads, Gordon and hell even Alfred. There were teaser photos of a new Joker as well.
Hot Toys is awesome because their figures are so impressive, I would probably buy a Mr. Freeze from B&R and I wasn't a fan of his character or the movie in general. There's a market for every type of off the wall figure proposal, they made New Goblin from SM3 for gods sake, and I guess it has been received pretty well by fans. As long as they keep doing what they're doing, they'll have great success, I can't say enough good things about Hot Toys

If they ever got into the 60's show I would spend way too much money on toys lol
I swear a Frank Gorshin Riddler figure is something that this world needs.

^Seriously? I thought he looked really dopey as Batman. He looked a great Bruce Wayne though. Minus his signature bobble-heading, of course.

i think he looked good as well. especially the part after he caught freeze when he gets back to the batcave in the batmobile. the 2 seconds of darkness the movie had...
dont want to start this discussion again BUTTTTTTTT lol i think all the actors are great actors and if they had a solid script and production team the movie would have actually been good. HOWEVER i am not sure if any of them actually read the script before taking the roles. batman was such a big pop culture icon back then and everybody wanted to be in a batman movie...

Yes, seriously. He looked a whole lot more of a believeable Batman than Keaton did, IMO. And I really think this bobble head nonsense is a huge exaggeration. Still, it was really sucky movie I will agree, but I don't think that was Clooney's fault. For me the blame is squarely on Schumacher's shoulder's.

WB, really. They wanted to sell more toys. Schumacher has made his share of dark films.

exactly. Schumacher openly talks about how once they decided on another film, and wanted him to direct, how the screenwriters and him were being pushed to make it more toy-centric,so they could market more merchandise. |

I can't wait to see the Penguin Hot Toy. When I was a kid, Batman Returns was my favorite Batman movie...even though the Joker was my favorite of the rogue gallery. I loved the look and tone of Returns and really loved the way it looked with Michael Keaton's Batman going against Danny Devito's Penguin.
Though I can agree that look was totally a Burton design, I still love it to this day.
