1 - It felt like a different studio took over Marvel (maybe Disney...??) and decided to start making movies.

2 - If you loved Whedon's run on Astonishing X-Men, just substitute the Avengers and put them on film.

3 - Hulk is the new Iron Man in terms of general audience fandom.

4 - DO NOT let people ruin moments. This movie rides on classic movie moments that you will be talking about at the water cooler for DAYS afterward

5 - Hulk

6 - Whedon--SMASH!

7 - I don't know. I'm like...just really surprised it was as good as it was.

So I guess you didn't like Iron Man, Cap, and Thor at all?

I hope the Hulk is as good as people say he is. I feel all the Hulk movies really failed at giving us a good and earnest interpretation of Hulk.

Got a few questions for you dude!

1) While I don't want to know the after credits scene, what was your reaction to it?
2) How was the score?
3) Favourite and least favourite Avenger/character?
4) Have the trailers and clips spoiled much?

I can't give it away. Actually, that was the scene I was most meh about, not that I was really meh about any other scenes really.

Was this song in a montage or somewhere else in the film? (Avengers soundtrack)
VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

Sounded suited for Cap.

Also how far in was it until Thor appeared? / Thor's fight with Iron Man & Cap?

So you like the movie? Can you tell us what you think about the final battle scene, since there seems to be some conflicts about whether it is good or not.

1) the after credits scene was meh for me;
2) Score had some good moments, but Armstrong's Incredible is better.
3) Favorite? HULK!!!!! Cap is great too, as is Widow. Hawkeye was probably my least favorite, but still good.
4) The trailers and clips have not, but I'd suggest you stop watching them. I will say -- and I hope they keep this out -- they haven't shown the best part of the movie AT ALL (except for a few snippets).

Wow, if they haven't shown us the best parts yet, this movie is really going to blow our minds out!

bosef did you feel there was a general balance in terms of screen time/importance/relevance for the major characters (6 Avengers, Loki, Fury)?

Bosef, that was a great (non-spoilery) reaction post. Thank you

Especially LOVED your #2; I loved Joss' Astonishing X-Men, one of my favorite books. I was hoping that was the dynamic he was going to go for in Avengers. I'm looking for an ensemble piece similar to Star Trek 2009. Sounds like this might have been it.

Also... HULK!! Love that he's getting so much love on Twitter and from viewers.

I don't know. THe movie has really good pacing and it sort of just moves along. Which was so great about it. Maybe 1/3 of the way through he appears. Not telling you the other part, but it's earlier.

Great to hear someone who's iffy on the Marvel movies in general loved it. I'm in the same boat. I enjoyed Iron Man and Cap, but even those movies aren't especially beloved by me.

News keeps on getting better!

I loved the final battle scene and felt it had the best moments and just felt great. Didn't feel sorta obligatory like the other Marvel movies. It really felt lead to and organic.

If anyone who has seen it posts here I would like to ask some general questions
If you are fan of 616 Avengers but not ultimates can you enjoy the film
Do we get to see Captain America In a leadership role
Any chance of hearing "Hulk Smash" from Hulk.Savage Hulk Is my favorate
version of the Hulk.
Does Black Widow as expected have a decent sized role
Any surprise cameos from characters from earlier Marvel Studios films
