The Most Hated Franchise in Sports?
It's purely speculative & based purely on bias but of all the sports you consider yourself a fan of, which franchise do you hate the most? I'd have to itemize my own & then narrow it down.
NFL: Steelers, Jets, Patriots NBA: Celtics, Heat, Spurs NCAAB: UNC, Kentucky, OSU, Kansas NCAAF: LSU, USC, Arkansas NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins, Vancouver MLB: Red Sox Bastards Now if I was forced to concentrate all that suck into a single crown? The Steelers followed closely by the Tar Heels. If there's ever been a more insufferable & arrogant group of douchebags..... Present company excluded.

NFL: the Cowboys (with the Giants being a close second) NBA: the Lakers NHL: the Canadiens MLB: the Yankees Most hated team in all sportsdome... the Montréal Canadiens...

MLB: Yanks/Sox/Cubs NBA: Lakers NHL: Detroit * I wont get into soccer or college sports as I really don't pay attention to them at all. * I'm so tired of ESPN and all other press that continually talk about Sox/Yanks like they are the only teams playing. * I'm from St.Louis so automatically I hate Pats, Cubs, Detroit; those are main ones for me at least. |

Being from STL I hate the Redwings, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Blackhawks, Cubs and kU.
Can't say I hate east coast teams because I was born in Mass but I hate the east coast bias on ESPN. |

Not my personal opinion, but what I observe to be the most hated teams.
NFL - Cowboys. The Steelers have a lot of enemies too, but everyone who is not a Cowboys fan is united by their hatred of the Cowboys. NBA - Lakers. The Heat have overtaken them lately, but it remains to be seen how long it will last. Traditionally, the Lakers are the most hated team in the NBA. MLB - Yankees. The most hated team in all of sports right here. At least the Cowboys are held in check by a salary cap. NHL - There doesn't really seem to be a team that is overwhelmingly hated in the NHL like in the other leagues. It is more based on local rivalries. That said, the Red Wings and Maple Leafs probably get the most hate. NCAAB - Duke. ESPN's favorite team. NCAAF - USC or possibly Miami. |

MLB: None really, I don't really follow baseball closely enough but I hate everything that comes out of Philadelphia so I guess the Phillies. NHL: Flyers, Capitals, Red Wings. NCAAF: Michigan NBA: Don't care. Patriots and Ravens are probably tied as my two most hated. Patriots maybe slightly more because they've beaten the Steelers in big games multiple times, and alot of the Pats fans I know are delusional and incredibly arrogant. Ravens because, well, they're the Ravens, and they have some of the most obnoxious, stupid fans I've ever met in the world.
