Okay, I'm gonna be completely honest.....I am hopelessly lost when it comes to Traipse's map-maker. I have absolutely no idea how the hell it's supposed to work.

Adding maps. I ended up just drawing them; they look ugly as home-made sin, but they'll work.

So, I'm trying to do a new character sheet, since the one me and Andy cobbled together last weekend was lost, and I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer: If you want a utility belt, does it cost an equipment point for the utility belt itself? I ask because that's the impression I was under, however by looking at the "example" utility belt (Page 164 in the Core Rules) it says above the items listed in the Utility Belt that the total cost of it is 25 Equipment points, which when you add up the points from all the items listed, it comes to 25, meaning if that the Utility Belt was a point in and of itself, the total should be 26, so I don't think it costs a point to have one and it's true cost is really the sum of all the point costs of each item listed as being stored within the belt. Does that sound right?

That's a good question. I don't think the belt costs an extra point, but I used an extra point just for it in case.

The Utility Belt isn't counted. It is, for all intents and purposes, only the name of the Equipment array you have. It's fluff, not crunch.

Psychic Paper? Mildly variable Perk effect that grants you whatever credentials you want to display? I'd say that's worth an Equipment point.

Congrats on the job. Considering our track-record so far, I don't think the schedule will be a problem.

Andy, I finished my character sheet. If there are any issues with it, just let me know and I'll go about rectifying it. Here's the link:

.......EFF.
I lost about half of my maps. It's not a huge deal, since I can just draw them live on the Traise whiteboard, but it's still a pain in the ass. |

Okay, since Saturday's session of M&M was such a success (to us, anyway), Byrd and I were brainstorming the idea of maybe doing a separate game alongside M&M to do during the week. And what better way to parallel a game that essentially is based in it's own world than doing the opposite and going with the DC Adventures Game?
Problem is, we need two key things: Players and a DM. Since Byrd and I only just got into this, neither of us are particularly qualified to be a Gamemaster - plus, frankly, neither of us really want to run the game. We just want to play it. With us in as players, we'd have two of six slots filled. The DC Adventures Game - by the way - takes place in Pre-New 52 continuity (around the time of Brightest Day), and you can play established characters or make up your own, giving the stats of actual DC mainstays to your own character. So if you want to play Superman, that's fine, but you also have the option of playing your own guy with Superman's powers or someone who resides in Metropolis aswell. I have the DC Adventures handbook as a nifty little PDF file, which I'd happily give to anyone who wants to join and get a feel for what the game would be like. Just PM or IM me, or voice your interest here. Any day besides Saturday, which is when we're doing the M&M game, or Monday is fine with us.
