(He had her sent to a new research center, I believe.) Thor was grateful to know Jane had been taken care of.

2. It was a literal busload of people that had been damaged by the invaders. Cap pulled the doors open while Clint helped people out of windows. The war was raging around them, too.

3. Yeah, they cut that scene. I wish they hadn't but I guess Whedon thought it didn't work. Wish he felt the same about slaughtering poor Phil.

4. I did think that the music in the finale was very good. Actually, the entire score impressed me. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the action was so intense that I couldn't really concentrate on it. The track "A Promise" was played over the Central Park scene, with Fury intercut into it.

Sounds Awesome; I just can't keep saying that enough.

In your opinion (which I sincerely respect by the way based on your posts past and present)

1. Would you say that the film felt like a true "ensemble" for you where no one character was placed above the remainder of the group like how Wolverine is at times in the X-Men films?

2. I had heard from somewhere that Hulk is the one that wakes up Tony when he's unconscious by roaring at him which causes Tony to freak out at first. Is that true?

3. I also heard that Peggy is shown in via flashback. Is that true as well and how?

4. As a fan of Captain America as well, were you satisfied with how he was used in the final battle? Did he inspire the hope and leadership that some have been saying that Fury had intended him to?

To those who have seen the movie,do you think it also has the merit to make the individual movies better?

Thanks to those having seen the movie for answering my questions

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

1) Not much has been said about Stark role in the movie, does he have a good amount of screentime ?

2) There have been some pictures about Iron Man lying on the floor surrounded by the aliens, is he captured or something ? Does it follow the scene where Hulk catches him ? Can you describe this scene please ?

3) Does Stark assume more or less a role of leader alongside Cap ?

4) What is Iron Man role in the final battle ?

1 & 3) I may get flack for this but Stark's role is kind of comparable to Wolverine in X-Men where he has a lot of screen time and plays pivital roles in saving the day but Cyc is the leader. The difference being where X-men's character ratio was say 80%/20% in Wolvie's favour this is FAR MORE balanced and is about 55-60%/35-40%.

2) Can't remember when that happens but Hulk catches him after all the aliens are defeated.

4) A lot. He pretty much owns all airial assault and also is the one to save the day when the Avengers face a "ticking clock" (ask for spoilers if you must but it's best to leave SOME things!)

It's interesting to hear that considering on how so many who've seen it have said otherwise about how they felt that it came off as more ensemble than "iron man and his friends" like. Not that I'm trying to discredit you of course, it's just interesting to hear/read a different perspective on it.

Nah that's cool... I was hesitant in saying it because it is in no way negative, it didn't feel forced either or like 'Iron Man and His Amazing Friends'. Best way to describe it is Stark's personality: assertive, rich and loud - so now that I think about it it would almost be out of character for it not to feel the way it did!

Thank you Dr. Spoon !

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Can you tell me what Stark is trying to do when he's hit and caught by Hulk ? Is he hurt ? Or does he get back on his feet immediately ?

I heard that, when Iron Man is on the floor, he is rescued by Cap and Thor, is that true ?

Which avenger has the most proeminent role in defeating Loki and his army during the final battle ?

FYI, Big spoiler question for people who've seen it.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Does anyone who's seen it remember what Coulson was saying (and didn't finish) as he was dying... I remember it sounding important but didn't catch it.

I fully agree !! We have enough backstory on them provided by the other films that we come to care about them even more in The Avengers

Exactly

Marvel's solo films weren't as "epic" as some would've liked, but they did several things right including investing us into the characters.

No worries :-)

Alright, but this'll pretty much spoil most things:

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

The World Security Council orders a nuke to be sent to NY to destroy the portal generator... Iron Man diverts it into the portal to save NY. He is in space for a brief period and loses power/oxygen and falls back into the portal and out of the sky. No one is available to catch him but Hulk jumps in at the last second... this would be considered the last action piece (Loki's capture is more them confronting him).
Stark is "movie dead" so yeah he is hurt bad, but obviously comes to once the characters have their moment of thinking he is dead (and wakes up in quite a funny way)

I can't remember a point where Cap and Thor rescue Iron Man... but it may be the scene I mentioned above you're referring to.

They all play I would say equal roles really with Hulk and Thor taking down their share of Leviathans and Iron Man takes one down too (maybe 2 of them? There was so much going on!). Cap pretty much owns the ground combat though.
BUT - Iron Man definately saves the day in the end but as mentioned above it's not from Loki etc. but from the nuke.

I think they didn't need to be super-epic,after all they were origin/introduction movies,so the most important thing was to get the characters right, and MS succeded in that IMO and that's not something you can say about every CBM.And I liked most of the action scenes from those movies, especially Thor vs Frost Giants and TIH's set pieces. Also IMO Thor felt bigger than most people make it out to be.

Yeah I agree but you know how some people are, they expect every comic book film to be super epic with a huge scope.

Actually a better answer to the third Q is that it's tough to say as it's stated that the army is pretty much endless while the portal is open (and every shot of the portal shows more and more aliens coming through). So as for a percentage of the army killed you couldn't give a good number as they just KEEP ON COMING!

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
If I understood it well, Cap takes care of most of the field assault, Iron Man of most of the airial assault and Hulk and Thor of most of the Leviathans...

But it is when Iron Man puts the nuke on the portal that everything is stopped...

Spot on buddy (with maybe a smidge of overlap for each character in each field) :-)

I already love the action in Iron Man, Thor and Captain America.

The action suited each film perfectly and there did not need to be wall to wall action

So if I loved the action in those 3 movies, I expect I will go bat **** crazy over all the action in the Avengers
