I tried using that explanation, parents still didn't go for it.

I think it'd be a better theme for a birthday.

hell... have a beach theme!
Haha, being a Floridian, I'm veering far from anything beach themed. As for dead celebrity, white trash themes, I wouldn't do them simply because one of the clubs I'm a regular at has those themes annually, and no one really cares for them.

But yeah, that's why I said Winter themed instead of Christmas themed; I don't really want any Christian characters to be an inspiration for friends, but I wouldn't boot them out for doing so; hell I'd love if friends took inspiration from Batman Returns for their costumes.

Ha! Nice. Yeah, there's plenty of fun characters to choose from, and a good amount of my friends are cosplayers, so I know they'd have fun coming up with a costume.

Majik - which part of Florida you from?

Side note, my roommate used to throw ABC parties (anything but clothes), unsuccessfully masking the fact that she's a ***re..

Majik will return and no, I do not believe you can "block" moderators. That being said, I think we should all get back to our "group therapy".

As always, if you have an issue with a particular situation...I would suggest PM'ing an administrator.

I'm debating on having a Winter Masquerade party this year for my quarter-of-the-century-25th though. My rules would be masquerade costumes based off Winter characters(Santa Claus stories, Snow Queen, Jack Frost, Nutcracker characters, etc).

Of course it will all depend on my monetary situation at that time frame.

haha I'm so happy Thor truly introduced Hiddleston to me.
I desperately want to have a masquerade party.

Be careful; according to the movies, they always end badly (Phantom of the Opera, Masque of Red Death, Eyes Wide Shut, Batman Returns).

I've just lifted the probation on Majik, I see there was quite a lotof pitchforks in here last night.

Newsflash guys, Matt showed me the situation and I recommended the probation, so you had the torches lit for the wrong guy. I discussed it with the other Admins and it's been overturned.

In future if you have a grievance check your facts before hanging someone out to dry publicly, given what you guys posted last night, I'm your bad guy.

Is Gay Days worth it? Lol. Curious as how that'd be. I'm seriously in need of a Disney fix, although Universal and Harry Potter I'd prefer ANY day. ^.^

Nope, but wasn't quite a loss as the weather was pretty horrible, my physical pain ranged from 7-9 on a 10 scale day to day and the meds I was put on for my pain made me pass out a lot.

Well, during Gay Days, I haven't gone to any pool parties, and when I do the theme parks I either have my friends get me into Disney, or I use my ID to get into Universal and enjoy the day with friends. Universal doesn't do anything special for Gay Days, Disney just has the hotel pool parties and select days for parks, however, during Gay Days, Disney boosts up their merchandise prices.

I think that was one of the worst hangovers I had, and I rarely ever got hangovers (at most a mild headache), if I did, they were very bad, and mostly me being stupid enough mixing drinks.

I've been on and off T-total for the last 3 years though, and pretty much still am.

I need some opinions, guys..

Has anyone here ever been in a relationship with someone that's still hiding from their family? I've been dating my boyfriend for 5 months now, and we've never really been free enough to live on our own terms. He's really close to his family and he works alot with the local theatre, so it's tough for us to ever spend time together.. Or even talk, to be honest. I dunno, it just sucks sometimes to always be struggling. I'm just waiting until we can, easily, just be happy..

I'm done complaining. X.x

I'm still hiding my relationship from my family, and I've been dating my boyfriend for two years.

I haven't seen him since the middle of April, so just be thankful that you get to see him at all.

Your boyfriend will let his family know, and I'll eventually tell mine. But let him do it on his own time, because that's what I have to do.

I'm going to come out soon, like VERY soon. I'm just building up the courage to do it. I can never find the right time to do it. My father won't sit still to save his life, and my mother is constantly pissed off at me about something. I kinda wish someone would just do it for me, or that they'd over hear something I say.

Also... I kinda feel like I'm becoming depressed or something, and this is just one factor of it. I've been really lonely lately.
