Loki said a line that Odin must have summoned a massive amount of Dark Energies to be able to teleport Thor to earth to collect him (or something similar)

So I assume Asgardians do know how to teleport without the bridge.. it just takes a LOT of power and energy and skill.

Thor definitely got the more shots in as he should because he is a skilled fighter and the Hulk isnt. See the very beginning where Hulk is hitting nothing but air. But when Hulk does eventually hit Thor its big.

Yeah i hardly see it mentioned anywhere. I loved it, Thor just sitting there waiting for Hulk to come so he call his hammer. I'm sitting there thinking, holy crap what is he doing, where is Hulk. And then all of sudden boom, upper cut. Damn it looked amazing.

I got the impression that the hammer was just really far away from the battle. That just made it REALLY tense worrying if it would reach him in time. I'm a bigger Hulk fan but what followed was eeeepiiiic!

That was my impression as well. I don't remember seeing where it came from but I know I was expecting it to come flying through a wall.

Definitely an underrated shot.

Given that Loki is still technically a Frost Giant by genetics, doesn't that mean that whatever he could take physically, Thor should be able to take it even more due to his body being a true Asgardian's one?

Frost Giants seem just as tough as Asgardians, it's also known fact that Loki's physical attribute are all closer to Asgardians than Jotuns.

Thor is also half-elder god which means that he's definately more durable than Frost Giants and regular Asgardians.

I love the fact that we get to see Thor in the big screen every year now. From 2011-2013. 2014 is a sad year for Thor fans. I hope we get Avengers 2 in 2015 and Thor 3 in 2016.

It won't be a sad year for me, because after 3 consecutive years of Thor I'm sure I'll be pretty satisfied.

Definately, it's one of the funniest lines in the entire film in my opinion.

Alright, so Loki could shake off Automatic Weapon fire, but Thor gets injured by being stabbed by a little knife? I assume that has to be enchanted or something.

Well, it was probably asgardian metal..And Loki is quite strong too.

One thing I am curious to know more about is what exactly is supposed to be happening after Thor escapes from the Hulk cage. There seems to be a moment where he hesitates before summoning Mjolnir. And then he summons the storm to "armor up."

I guess it was just to fit with the "suit up" theme that was happening at that moment. But it was... odd. I couldn't tell if Thor was supposed to be de-powered for a moment or something? But I couldn't see any reason why he would be.

I think he finally realized he had to fight Loki and stop him at all costs. He doesn't want to (the slight hesitation) cause it's his brother, but then he gives in and boom, armor up, and kicking ass commences.

Agreed; plus, he was probably pissed off about how Loki murdered Coulson right in front of his eyes as well.

There is no evidence for Thor being anything but Asgardian in the movies.

Honestly, given how he does in his fights, I wouldn't be surprised if Loki is almost as strong as Iron Man. I can totally buy him stabbing Thor with an Asgardian and/or sorcerous knife. And really, not like it actually did anything to Thor but make him mad.

I wonder if that Dark energy has anything to do with Hela or Surtur.
