I don't think the general public cares for Bruce and a seemingly random woman kissing, If theres anything that will lure people in, it's the romance between Batman and Catwoman.

I remember being there the day they filmed that "showdown" and watching set videos that night, and I got chills then. (The vid should still be out there) I can't imagine it through the eyes of Wally and Nolan..
