Yeah, for some reason I've also predicted if she does have a whip that it would be a retractable whip, or at least something that wouldn't resemble the one used in Batman Returns. Besides, she's presumably 'high tech' so who knows what kind of interesting weapons she has under her belt, so to speak. Totally agree, if she does have some sort of whip it would be whatever version Nolan sees fit. I mean, he did make her goggles and cat ears one in the same, which we totally didnt see coming.

Excerpt from EMPIRE interview with Michelle Pfeiffer were she discusses who her Catwoman was, Anne Hathaway and her support of Christopher Nolan.

EMPIRE: Based on the comics or TV show? Who was your Catwoman?
PFEIFFER: I think Julie Newmar was my Catwoman.

EMPIRE: It was left open at the end of that film for Catwoman to return. What discussion was there about reprising that role?
PFEIFFER: Oh, very little. For a while, like a really brief time, Tim was interested in maybe doing a Catwoman movie, but that didn't really last very long.

EMPIRE: What are your feeling of Anne Hathaway now playing her in The Dark Knight Rises?
PFEIFFER: Oh, I think shes great. I'm actually very much looking forward to seeing her in the role. I'm a big fan of hers and I think she has everything you need for that role. She has the humour, she can go to dark places, shes obviously very talented. I think shes going to to be really good.

EMPIRE: What do you think of Christopher Nolan's take on the Batman universe?
PFEIFFER: I love it. Its very different to Tim's but I'm a fan.

EMPIRE: So your not protective of a role that has become defined by your performance?
PFEIFFER: Oh no. Halle Berry did it already. It's fine. The whole thing with Batman is that they're always changing the world with each director. I would have loved to have done it, but I know thats not really what the franchise is about now.

EMPIRE: You mean you would have loved to be Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's world?
PFEIFFER: Oh sure. I definitely would have done it.

EMPIRE: That could have been interesting.
PFEIFFER: I think so.

From there maybe she sneaks into a room, does herself up better in front of the mirror and steals the necklace (?). In the trailer you can clearly see the cats ear headband to Selina's left as she's putting on the necklace.

No, from how I understood it she's leaving Wayne Manor as she takes off her maid dress. It's not connected to the mirror/ball.
She might steal the necklace from Bruce though. Maybe it was kept in a fireproof safe?
And yes I know the necklace broke, but it's not like the Waynes were left to rot on the street.

There's a few sets of information about it.

Selina Kyle is a maid at Wayne Manor... but that seems more like an undercover assignment to me, like she's scoping the place out. We see her leaving the mansion, taking off elements of her maid uniform, straightening out and walking differently as she does so.

To clear a few things up, Selina Kyle doesn't work at Wayne Manor; she sneaks in posing as a waitress/maid, and then when inside, rips her outfit off so that she has entry into the masked party for the super rich. This is the party scene where she issues her warning to Bruce Wayne (from the second trailer) — of which Bruce Wayne is hosting. Miranda Tate is also present at this party.

I'm really curious as to the nature of their relationship (since it's pretty much confirmed now that Tate and Bruce are an item, or friends with benefits or something). According to some rumors she steals Wayne's Lamborgini after the ball, which actually makes sense.There were some spy pics some months ago in which Bruce Wayne is getting into GCPD with John Blake, while the Lambo was in some kind of custody. I think in this scene they captured Selina, and they need Bruce to identify her or something like that.

No it doesn't. Wayne's Car is there when Blake picks him up, it's being towed by a repossession company.

I can't wait for that scene myself. It would be so hilarious. I can almost imagine Selina with a "is this guy for real???" look on her face. Wouldn't surprise me either if that's the first time they meet.

Ditto. I'm wondering if WB is just hiding the romantic angle of her relationship with Bruce/Batman since they'd want to market her more as a villain (and keep the ally thing as a surprise) and Tatelia as the love interest or we just wouldn't see that being fleshed out at all? There's going to be a lot going on in this movie. Like what I mentioned in the Tatelia thread, Tate at least has the advantage of developing something with Bruce when she helps out in getting him out of his depression and getting him to continue his dad's legacy but Selina seems to be preoccupied with other things.

Been thinking about this actually... You saw what took the Lambo at the shoot right? Was it really a repossession company? What if the car was taken as evidence against Catwoman? Just seems odd that Bruce was dropped off at Selina's apartment of all places after being escorted to the GCPD. I don't know. Just throwing new ideas around.

I know the car it's in the GCPD, that's why I think they found Selina, some descriptions of the Cinemacon footage say Selina and John Blake share a scene which seems he is showing her his police ID. So maybe they found her and send her to jail or GCPD and took the car with them and they need Bruce Wayne to recognize her or something .
