banner "i'm always angry"

transforms into hulk. my favorite part!

i thought hulk throwing loki around like rag doll was funny but too silly. i mean loki should have been able to at least fight somewhat. anti climatic.

IM - Tony watching the news with a little target practice. One of my favorite non-verbal moments.

TIH - The bottling plant fight. For me, all the damage from Ang Lee's film was gloriously undone as Hulk finally got to cut loose.

IM2 - Ivan walking onto the racetrack and ****ing s*** up. Some really cool imagery and I love the idea of a supervillain playing for the cameras

THOR - Loki trying to lift Mjolnir is a close second (more great non-verbal work), but for sheer epic awesome I have to put Thor getting his power back.

CAP - The chase thru Brooklyn. I loved seeing Steve discover his new strength.

I thought it was impressive enough just to survive what Hulk did to him, personally. 9-realms denizens are tough.

I was very impressed with, too bad no one in the GA notices or even cares how tough Loki is.

All they care about is "Hulk beating the **** out of Loki".

IM - testing the mark II (where all the nuts and bolts move around before take off) simply incredible.

TIH - hulk in the shadows at the coke facotry. almost horroresque.

IM - IM vs whiplash at the race track. the movie peaks in act 1.

THOR: thor vs the frost giants. the movie peaks in act 1.

CA:TFA: steve is transformed to the peak of perfection. the movie peaks in act 1. erm, I'm sensing a trend here

avengers: hulk vs thor. I literally (LITERALLY!) had goosebumps watching that scene.

As far as action goes yes, but not as far as character arcs, emotion, and interaction is concerned.

nope. I was checked out for act 2 (thor on earth) and the 3rd act where thor, takes down the destoyer, beats loki and breaks the bifrost was little more than perfunctory.

Everyone has their opinions, but I'm pretty sure you're just looking at it from an action standpoint.

Iron Man - That after credits scene which started the whole thing off. Either that or "Proof that Tony Stark has a heart" was nice.

Incredible Hulk - The fight at the university. Incredibly well set up.

Iron Man 2 - Seeing Tony's dad in those flashbacks. John Slattery is so clever.

Thor - Loki going nuts at Odin yelling "IS IT BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T HAVE A FROST GIANT SITTING ON THE THRONE?" and then suddenly letting his rage subside when he realises the effect that had on his 'father'.

Captain America - 'The Star Spangled Man'. I know some people didn't like it but it was clever, it matched the era and it was inventive. Shame the whole movie didn't have that energy.

The Avengers - Loki versus the old German man. Some people are saying that man was Jewish. I prefer to think of him as someone who stood by a long time ago and has spent the rest of his life trying to redeem himself.

Iron Man- Stark and Pepper arguing. "I know now what i have to do. And i know that in my heart, it's right"

Thor- Loki lying to Thor at the SHIELD facility, trying to lift Mjolnir.

Captain America- Star Spangled Man montage. Pure genius. Brilliantly done

TIH- The chase in the favella and the fight in the bottling plant

IM2- Stark's party. An unpopular one, but i think it's great. It isn't funny, at all. It's actually quite sad. Seeing him completely falling apart. It was like when you see a guy at a party who is so ****ed up it's almost funny, if it wasn't so sad and pathetic.

That scene had some quality acting in it, in my opinion it's just as good as the "TELL ME" scene just more subtle.

We're supposed to do monologues in 4th year drama at our school, and I'm trying to get the okay on doing Loki's 'TELL ME!' Though I doubt I could do it any justice

BigThor I know you're almost as big a Thor fan as I am (ha, ha) What
was your reaction when Hulk cold cocked Thor after they jointly took down a laviathan? I was thinking ; that's just wrong, even as I was falling out of my seat laughing. I was joyously relieved that they showed Thor fully powered. His battle with the Hulk showed that he can hold his own against ANYONE in the marvel universe. Bring on Thanos.

If i may comment, i took it as the Hulk subconciously being still somewhat miffed at Thor for being WAY more of a fight than the Hulk was expecting...

I chuckled and had a big grin on my face, I didn't take it as disrespect to my favorite character at all.

However I wouldn't mind Thor getting a little payback in Avengers 2 though, Thor's not too mature to have a little "fun".

I agree, I'm pretty sure Hulk was suprised that a human sized character was able to go toe to toe with him.

Agreed. I saw no disrespect; just an incredible understanding of
the characters on Josh Whedon's part. I saw it as an "I didn't need your
help, go away" thinking on the Hulk's part.
I want to see MUCH more of this in all future Marvel movies.

Iron Man - Building the Mark 1 suit

TIH - Hulk vs Abomination

IM2 - Tony coming back to his senses after being an ass which leads to building the new suit

Thor - Loki confronting Odin

Captain America - Erskine telling Steve why he chose him

Avengers - There's to many to be honest, but for now I choose Iron Man blasting Cap's shield like a fusion attack against the army.

I don't know if this is the best movie I've ever seen or not. It is however, the most fun I've had at the movie theater ever period. Perfectly done comic book movie and has set the bar really high for Spider-man and Batman this summer.

There are just too many great parts to name.

-The entire action sequence at the end. I particularly loved how even though they all went on to do their own thing at the start in the fight, they still worked together the entire time.

-Captain America giving orders to the team for the final fight. Damn that was bad ass.

-The Hulk sequences. I'm so glad that he was finally allowed to just let loose.

A movie like this makes all years of being called a comic book nerd worth it Lol. Damn it was so good......

I hate that I was spoiled about Thanos prior to the movie. I hid away from all the spoilers and this came from an unlikely source so I was pissed off beyond belief. That would have been the icing on the cake but oh well.

Favorite scenes:

Agent Coulson with Loki - sad ending to a great character

Hulk and Loki - smackdown

Iron Man/Thor/Loki/Captain America - "I'm listening", "Shakespeare in the park", No go, no go, he loves his hammer", etc just a non-stop flood of action and comedy to set the pace for the rest of the movie.

Old man standing up to Loki.

Cap taking charge and leading the team.

I could go on an on...man I have got to see the movie agian.

Not really any specific moment. But I just loved Loki in general. I wanted him to go Reverend X at some point. "I'm God and b***h you not".
