I thought she was ok. She was Maria Hill, bolshy, loud, barking orders. There isn't really much else to the Maria Hill character in the comics either.

I thought she was perfect, considering what little she had to do, but they gave her a lot of subtle moments. For instance, the cold, tactitian side of her character was present. She was constantly not understanding Fury's motive, which informs her character perfectly (since she was always a weak leader living in his footsteps in the comics, who never understood his sense of faith in heroes) and my favourite little moment was when Stark stands in Fury's command spot for a joke and she totally glares at him. Classic Hill :P
