There's nothing stopping you going into the trailer blind if you want to.

That's a ridiculous argument considering thus far the viral has been relatively harmless to people wanting to enjoy without spoiler material. It's not like with set reports or leaks where you actually go in to read said spoiler and then complain, this is the actual studio going viral (i.e getting lots of average joes to join in) with a game that practically spoils the imagery of the trailer before you see it. Also, you of all people should know on a forum like this you can't exactly stick around when some kind of 'official promotion' comes around and expect to avoid it... this is official promotion, but it's irresponsible in the sense it reveals too much.

I'm having A LOT of trouble believing Nolan actually approved of WB using this method to reveal the last trailer. This method literally goes against everything he preaches regarding the unparalleled quality delivered by the use of IMAX cameras and, of course, about not being spoiled before watching the final product of something. How could random, tiny and horrid quality screen caps possibly do this trailer justice?

Did you read the CinemaCon descriptions? A lot of the shots in this trailer are from that footage, so it was already spoiled to a huge extent by those descriptions.
