Yeah...

At the very least, Amy Adams will likely wipe the floor with Nolan's other female leads.

I think she will bring something new to the character, which is great. But the hair and make-up and lighting people will be working overtime. Actually I guess filming is over, so now it's up to post-production.

Exactly, I didn't feel enough time was granted for the relationships with Selina and Tate. I didn't want to post any spoilers because I've been seeing a few users complaining about it.

I'd like to think that MOS won't have this problem as much as TDKR had, but we'll have to wait and see. We can't even be sure as to when Clark is supposed to meet Lois during his journey.
True. I do have concerns that this film will have too much to cover with Krypton, Clark's childhood, Clark's self exile, the tornado, Zod, etc. there won't be enough time to develop Lois and Clark/Superman's relationship in a believable way. We do know they share a kiss from the SDCC footage, which I hope is a justifiable one.

If this movie is going to be as long as the Batman films, I think they'll have enough time to develop all that they need to.

I actually found Anne Hathaway's performance and chemistry with CB to be pretty on-point. Bruce seemed to be genuinely intrigued by her, as was I. (Translation: Hathaway was boss!) Both Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal, on the other hand, didn't do much at all for me with their portrayal of Rachel Dawes. I think Dawes was a poorly developed character to begin with though. I'm sure they (at least Maggie) tried to flesh her out somewhat even if it was to no avail.

Damn... not even Jean Grey. Even in The Notebook he played the likable guy that ended up losing his girl to the main character. Talk about a niche.

For some reason, I imagine that this could be a possibility of what Lois might react like for the scenes where Clark first comes into the DP for MOS.

Perhaps. Maybe she'll be too busy to even notice Clark at first, though.

lol; well this is all going under the assumption of a theory that I've read where Lois learns of the secret before then and that Clark only joins the DP at the end of the film.

Agreed...but I still think Adams will wipe the floor with her.

And there's also the benefit that Adams as Lois will have a far greater impact on the plot and main character.

Catwoman's sexy and all, but she's a beta female next to Lois Lane. =D
