I'm sold as her as Lois but I wish she had darker hair... maybe in the sequel!

Oh, she is wearing a skirt in that scene. Still loving the modern reporter look. I was never obsessed the 1930's/40's look the way some fans are. Nothing wrong with liking a look but I want to see Superman in true modern times, not that hybrid look we got in the last film. Just happy to see that we are moving on for once.

Nah, I'm good with the red hair.
Lois being a brunette is what most are used to, certainly, but it's not a 'must have'. There were depictions of comic Lois that had red hair.

The whole photo looks edited, and it is; whether it's done officially or by a fan is the difference. As for where they're get a pic of Amy, hairdo, and outfit; it's what photomanipulation is. And from set pics, it's a good indication for referring to what to make Lois look like. Finding numerous pics of Amy, blending them together, same for hair and outfit. It's not an impossible thing to do. And people still manage very well to manip fine strands of hair and soft edges, it's really not that hard to accomplish if you take the time. Could it be real? Sure, but it could also be fan made. It's the same way when some amazing fan arts are confused to be real. It goes both ways.

I was exaggerating for my own humor. I don't think it's a manip because all the set photos are small and taken at candid angles. You would have to manip her hair, face, and outfit to match a close upwards angle shot. It's almost pointlessly difficult to do. Plus, I have never seen it before. Some people said they did but no one has shown that to be true. It's not ambiguous to me, but people are free to believe what they want. I like to rely on logic instead of "feeling a photo" for its authenticity.

Given the serious tone of the film, it's nice to know that Amy's Lois will be providing some of the more lighthearted moments for Superman's character as she mentioned that there will be bantering scenes with them as well.

That will be great. I like this new still of Lois, she looks like a modern newswoman and it seems she's got the attitude of Lois.

I chalk it up to internet lost in translation speak. I wasn't implying that at all, I meant it in the opposite way you think I meant it. I should have put a smiley face at the end or something.

I wonder if Lois will find out about Clark having powers early on.

She probably helps him conceal his identity. I imagine they went with a "Team Superman" with Lois, and maybe Perry and Jenny/Jimmy. Seems reasonable to me.

That makes a lot of sense after how they made it sound like there's more to Lois and Clark's relationship in the Empire article.
It also makes Clark's disguise more believable if you have a Pulitzer prize journalist covering up his identity. No one would suspect a reporter to do that.

Yeah. It bothered me so much in that show that he was always in the office without glasses though. It just makes no continuity sense for when he would eventually go public as Superman. The whole DP not to mention anywhere else he went during the show would recognize him immediately.
I'm perfectly accepting of the glasses disguise but the films/tv has to stick to it's own internal logic by having him wear them. I fear it's going to bother me in MOS with him not having the glasses during his upbringing (the tornado clip in the trailer shows him without glasses and that's Cavill) so how will the whole small town not recognize him when he's Superman... Ugh hopefully Goyer has thought of this. Anyways... Amy Adams is beautiful! |
