I saw the TDKR trailer and everybody in the theater was silent in awe, even the kids were quiet.

Avengers was fun. My first IMAX movie. Pretty awesome stuff. Lots of costumes, some guy even came dressed as batman and got a thunderous applause from the audience. No one mentioned my rogues shirt. Sucked. The crowd was pretty good, lots of wise crackers. When they made the announcement it was time that we could no longer save seats one kid shouted, "If we can't save these seats, we'll damn sure avenge them". All in all lots of fun.

Same thing happened tonight at my theatre. When bane first appeared when the guy asks what he is there were some gasps of real shock. I said it in the other thread but the small screen does not do this trailer justice.... Especially banes voice which is extremely menacing on the big screen.

THIS is why midnight showings rule!!!! I can remember when I went to go see TDK, when the movie opened with the logo clouded in explosion and flames some idiot piped up "Hey did you see the Bat?" The laughter didn't stop until the window where the Alarm and Safe guy popped out.

That part didn't; when he wouldn't stop talking that's when the entire theater gave him a harmonious SHUT UP.

We had that...... I slipped on my makeup, I Believe In Harvey Dent Joker vandalized shirt, and my Heath Ledger black ribbon. We had two other girls in Joker makeup........ and a guy boasted in a replica Michael Keaton Bat-suit; much applause there.

For people who have seen it already, I keep hearing the cinematography is pretty bad and inconsistent through out the movie. Is this true? Also how is the score? Ive heard it's generic. Other than those 2 things, I have heard it's a blast.

Cinematography was good, there's a tracking shot that will blow you away. I only noticed the score when they played their theme song.

I'm late to the part, but my top 5 comic book films are:

1. The Dark Knight
2. The Avengers
3. Spiderman 2
4. Watchmen(Directors Cut)
5. Batman Begins

EDIT: I've already seen The Avengers three times, so I'm confident in putting it that high. I never like to rate things too high or too low after one viewing, but three should be enough.
