Anyway, I like Tudyk. Just about everytime I see him he's doing good work. That being said when it comes to Ant-Man they should get someone with a little pull. I dont mean an A List star, but someone with a decent sized fan base. Which come to think of it makes my choice of Patrick Wilson lose a lot of weight. But I wouldnt be mad if Tudyk got it though
Yeah, I'm not sure how big a fan base Tudyk has outside of these Whedon shows, which not everyone has seen. Someone like Simon Baker instantly has more charisma for the role and a built-in fan base from the Mentalist. I could see him elevating the role of Pym to something more than his comic counterpart in the same way that RDJ did with Tony Stark.

Simon Baker is one of the least charismatic actors I've ever seen in movies I like.

Regarding age, I don't think you can use RDJ as a point for long considering they said they were recasting him after IM3.

Okay, but I'm not sure if a PGA golfer is the best choice here

I loved Chloe Moretz in Kick Ass. Who could she play in The Avengers if she was given a chance to be in the movie?

But I felt she was one of the few who sold her character as a flesh-and-blood person and could have just as easily fit in on a much more grounded show.

That said, I think Diane Kruger and Abbie Cornish are also great (and more realistic) choices for the role. No idea about Alice Eve, though.

Couldn't agree more with your opinions of Strahovski. She had a small part in Killer Elite too which was very believable and nicely done as well.

She's too young to play any of the classic Avengers. If the MCU starts spotlighting some of the more recent entries, you've got a ton of new (young) superheroes showing up for training in titles like Avengers Academy, so I could see her playing someone like Kate Bishop as an alternate Hawkeye, or as Spider-Girl or White Tiger. I don't think Marvel Studios have shown any inclination to go that route, though.

But there *was* a Runaways film in development a few years ago; dunno how far along plans are for its release. If that happens, you'll probably hear Chloe's name come up a lot in casting threads.

I didn't think of these, but they're perfect, imo.

Ms. Marvel - Abbie Cornish

Falcon - Anthony Mackie

John Krasinski (The Office, almost Captain America) as Ant Man.

And, I could be wrong, but I have a feeling Rebecca Hall (The Prestige) is playing Janet Van Dyne in Iron Man 3 to pave the way for Edgar Wright's Ant Man film.

Chiwetel Ejiofor (Children of Men, Serenity) as Black Panther.

Nice to hear. I'll be interested in seeing how she does with this seemingly darker role she has on the new season of Dexter. Maybe if she displays some range, there will be less people claiming she's too "unproven" as an actress.

Hopefully they give her a character that's more Trinity and less Colin Hanks' character

But it's been a while since Dexter had a well-written villain

Interesting, if left-field, theory; but I agree, I doubt they'd intro Wasp in IM3....I just don't see how she fits there.

Hall is in IM3; that's all we know so far. They never identified her character, and afaik, she isn't in Wilmington (yet). She could be anyone from Maya Hansen to Bethany Cabe to Whitney Frost.

Tudyk also played Sonny from I-Robot, so the man has range.

I would love for Bethany Cabe to be in IM3, as she's my favourite Stark girl. However, it almost seems as if Marvel have amalgamated part of her character into Pepper Potts, who serves more or less the same function. Since Stark is in a relationship with Potts, Cabe seems kind of redundant sadly. She could be head of security, but isn't that Happy Hogan's job? The two have never shared the same duty. If Cabe is any kind of love interest, it would mean that she's only temporary since Paltrow is the leading lady.

The only way to have Cabe is if Paltrow stops playing, in which case Cabe would probably take over that role of Stark girl, kind of in the same way as how they're using Gwen Stacy instead of Mary Jane in The Amazing Spider-Man.

I just hope they don't turn Bethany Cabe into any kind of traitor or ruin her character. It's better not to use her than abuse her.
