The more stuff they put in, the better, in my book. I want to see all of the deleted scenes, making of, gag reel, documentaries on each character and interviews with the actors, audio commentaries... i'm greedy

The only requirements for me would be some kind of extended cut, and a blooper reel. Not really bothered about extra features on DVDs like so many other people. I'm buying it for the film, after all.

Of course, a commentary is a must. Whedon does the best commentaries. I'll be shocked if it doesn't have one.

One thing I'd love to see but am not holding my breath for is gag reel. I just LOVE gag reels, and with this cast, you know it would be a great one.

You can thank Christopher Nolan for that. He doesn't want to lift the curtain, so to speak. Even on his passion project, Inception, he didn't do a commentary.

Joss, however, likes doing DVD/Blu-ray extras. I'm sure we'll get some meaty stuff come September 28th.

I think just about all those are things that have been included on past Marvel releases. I'd like to see some of the concept art from the book that's being released also. They'll probably also put all the different trailers and TV spots on as well.

Aside from their future projects, Marvel will be probably doing the heavy promotion of the DVD at SDCC'12. Happened with all of their Marvel Studios movies, so this one won't be an exception. Plus, I know that a lot of Disney/Marvel execs who have already seen some of the special features.

Some people cant afford to buy bluray, no matter what tactisc they employ to force us.

Seeing as this movie is one of the biggest films of all time, and the fan base is quite big and only getting bigger, I'm betting they'll pull out all the stops and come out with multiple different editions, some of which will be filled to the brim with extras. I'm definitely gonna buy the most expensive one with the most discs, just cause I know I'm gonna watch everything on it within a few days
My favorite part of comic book movie home releases are the documentaries they do on the comics themselves. Here's to hoping they do an extensive one on the Avengers comics the film was inspired from.

I doubt Marvel will have to do much promotion for the Blu-ray/DVD by that time but I guess Feige, Whedon, and probably an actor or two will stop by SDCC to promote it.

I'm hoping the sound will be dynamic on the dvd/bluray release. The movie was great, but the sound did not impress me at all. *Fingers cross for a DTS-HD release*

I'd like a nice hour long documentary that gets right down to it without silly webisodes that run 1 to 2 minutes (I hate those), it's a waste of disc space.

Another documentary dealing with Avengers history by comic book creators.

Of course full cast commentary and bilingual alternate tracks, sometimes the voice acting by Spanish speaking actors is real intense and for an action movie like this it helps.

I'm positiv, with Disney's track record nowadays, we'll get French and Spanish dub tracks, plus an audio descriptive track.
