Batman's mask actually hides his identity somewhat. Captain America's helmet in the Avengers didn't look as well as it could but it served its purpose. Although his helmet in CA:TFA looked awesome.

So you think that if Robin ever appears again in a new Batman movie, he shouldn't have his domino mask? And that Catwoman in TDKR shouldn't have had one either?

Yes to both of those. I would've much preferred the Jim Lee Catwoman to what we got.
Just my opinion, but I think domino masks look ridiculous in modern CBMs. It's a relic of an old era. I'd be okay if it stayed there.

Yeah, the Jim Lee Catwoman would've been smoother. I did like the way they tweaked her visor so that it just "happened" to open up into cat ears with a domino mask, but it still didn't make sense for her visor's based to look just like a domino mask.

Some people like the mask, I'm one of them. I think its a nice look for the winter soldier. Doesnt matter if it doesnt protect his identity. If catwoman, in the more realistic-ish nolan world, could have one, then I dont see why bucky cant. Nailed It.

If Winter Soldier is going to have a domino mask, it would need to be because it was functional. Night vision lenses, etc in a compact device. Less about disguise and more about practicality, a way to carry more tech.
And of course, there'd need to the the whole "Captain America doesn't recognize him as Bucky, less because of the mask, but more due to his actions" angle. At first. What are the odds they'd combine the characters of Winter Soldier and Crossbones and give Bucky a skimask or a full facemask? Or, since he's kind an anti Captain America, he could have a mask like Cap's. Kind of a nod to when he takes over for Cap after his death. Or they could go the easy way and give him goggles or dark glasses.

I'd love for the movie's tone to be something like this, found it on Tumblr just as it is.

She's 27. The same age as ScarJo. Don't really think it's an issue.

To me it does depend on hair/makeup/costume choices, but yeah, it is hard for me to think of Kendrick as in her late 20's.
That said, she's a phenomenal talent, though, so that's the paramount factor for me in choosing a potential Sharon Carter.
