How about we all just post who we want in the 2nd and 3rd movie. But not just that. State your reason why you chose the villain and how do they affect the new trilogy. Also, we should have a little bio of the villains on how they became in this movie universe.
Example: TASM 2: Electro Bio: Max Dillon is involved in an accident at one of the OsCorp labs. To save him, OsCorp injects him w/ the 2nd draft of the super serum, causing the electricty to become his power. |

I'd rather see Webb follow the bold rather than try to improve things, such as bringing back Venom and try to improve him and the symbiote story.

TASM 2: Shocker and Green Goblin
Shocker has a cameo appearance as a thug robbing a bank, with his high tech gauntlets. Spidey obviously fights him, and the police get Shocker, and the city praises him. But Jonah thinks something is suspicious. Thinks Shocker and Spidey worked together, Spidey is trying to get the city on his side, then he'll betray everyone. Also, this scene shows that over the years between the two films, Spidey is still fighting for the city. Norman injects himself with some type of supersoldier serum or something. And becomes stronger, more athletic, and better agility. Norman is evil, no split personalities, but he acts nice to the public. We also have Harry and MJ, by this time Peter is going to College. He graduated at the beginning of the film. Spidey and Goblin fight. Goblin has the suit and mask. Goblin kills Gwen, and Peter is sad. Harry, who wasn't Peter's best friend, just kinda an acquaintance, never bullied him but never was by his side, grows closer to Peter. MJ also like Peters, and comforts him. Movie end, Goblin is still alive, and Spidey wants revenge. Also: like in the Ultimate comics, Harry knows his father is Goblin. I don't want another your friend killed my father, screw you type of thing with Peter and Harry. |

I don't know, can you handle writing a long story? It will take more effort to edit and polish

Thank God Bryan Singer told Mathew Vaughn to stay away from the internet when he was making First Class.

Matthew Vaughn wouldn't have done it anyways. He seems like someone that doesn't even bother to view what fanboys talk about.

Troy didn't say it originally. The original quote is that Webb is here to right what Raimi did wrong. No he's not. Webb's job isn't to watch the Raimi movies and then re-do what Raimi did wrong (according to fans I guess because the GA and critics applauded the first two movies). That would be the saddest director ever. His job is to bring to life his version of Spider-Man...or the producers version of Spider-Man with this first movie. It's pretty clear that Sony wanted this version to be completely different than Raimi's and that decision was made before Webb came on board. The reboot script was written and devised before SM4 was canned. They even started doing re-writes before Webb was hired. So technically this first movie isn't much of Webb's ideas. I am sure he had some input though but a lot of the plot was leaked before Webb was hired and some of that looks to remain, like spy parents. That's not a knock on Webb. If this movie is a success then he will have some more clout with the next movie.
Troy then said that Webb is going to take into account what people thought Raimi did wrong through their eyes and fix those things. No...no he isn't. Webb is not going to listen to internet fanboys and fix what they think was wrong. The only person's eyes that Webb should take into account is his own. If he feels that he can improve upon some things then awesome. He isn't going to change things because of what the internet says (beause as I have mentioned the GA and critics loved the first two).

I totally agree with this! He's one of my favourite villains and I can definitely see him used as the main threat in a film.

I think he should be a hired gun, along with maybe some other villains. Not some minor annoyance, but also not the main antagonist. A very capable villain, but maybe with someone bigger pulling the strings. I don't see him as the guy too hellbent on taking out Spidey.

Shocker is more a "I'm-doing-this-for-money" kind of guy. In my view of him, he wouldn't kill anyone if he doesn't really have to. And I think he'd even hesitate if someone wanted Shocker to kill an innocent dude. Sure, he would probably take the job, but in the very moment he'd have to kill someone, I think he'd be unsure. I think he's a very human villain in some way if you understand what I mean. I think, the reason for Shocker to try to defeat Spider-Man is either a) because someone hires him for lots of money, or b) because Spidey is a major obstacle to Shocker's criminal acts. I can also see Shocker being used as a mob's commander on the field sort of villain. Like, for example, Silvermane and his mob plans to rob the banks of New York, and Shocker is the one doing the dirty work and leading the criminals. |

After replaying Spider-Man 2 the game, I have to say that Mysterio SHOULD be in at least ASM 2 or ASM 3.
He screams movie potential.

A lot of writers have basically made Shocker almost similar to Spider-Man in regards to the everyman status.

I still wish the lizard had a snout. Kinda disappointed in the way his face looks but oh well, the rest of him looks great.
Agreed. To me, Mysterio's one of the most fun characters because with him, almost anything is possible.
