Yup. Fun while you're playing it, but it only lasts about 2 hours, doesn't really conclude anything and there is no free roam as Robin.

Still, fun to get some Robin story stuff and 800 pts is better than 1200 pts. I was playing Splinter Cell Conviction co-op the other night and it made me realise how badly I want co-op challenge mode in Batman. Taking out thugs as Batman and Robin would have been choice and wouldn't have affected the solo story at all. Here's hoping for the next game.

If you're planning on getting the game of the year edition. If you buy it at Walmart you get Gotham City Imposters for free

That would be a good deal. Gotham City Imposters was a pretty neat arcade game. Had a few interesting ideas in it and was certainly fun.

I know someone else around here had the same problem. I think he even called Sony but they recommended buying a PSN card.
Thanks. I just read through that thread. It seems this problem has been happening for people since 2009. It's still happening today. It's the first time it's ever happened on me.

There doesn't seem to be any solutions offered on the problem!

I think its pretty awesome. I wish it was longer. I think it would have been cool if this was the main story of AC. Batman comes to Arkham City because Robin went there against his orders and disappeared

Good piece of DLC. Only issue is now i want even MORE Arkham City and i want it now.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
It was also good to see the pregnancy test now read negative. I didn't see much they could of done with that.

Again, i can't wait to see where they go next. Bats is clearly affected by the deaths of Talia and Joker so id love to see what his demeanor would be like in the next outing.

Yeah I love that Batman seems to secretly be in grief over the death of Joker. I can actually imagine that he would feel pretty lonely, or maybe rather bored, having such a big piece of his own history suddenly disappear. Makes Batman seem pretty crazy as well (though we all know he's a little crazy), but I can somehow understand him at the same time.

CBMs in the near future I'm most looking forward to at this moment: 2) Thor 2, 3) Man of Steel, 4) The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 5) Guardians of the Galaxy (would be higher in the list if it wasn't for how much I hate the film Super from the same director).

I actually agree. I never would of thought myself saying that, but i really enjoyed him here. Now with that said, i hope we dont get more of him or anyone else in the 3rd game. The absolute last thing i want is for this series to turn into a choose your own hero adventure game. I dont want any switch points in the next title, i want it 100% Batman, 100% of the time. I dont want the next game to play like this DLC and have you switching characters throughout. I also dont want any co-op, unless of course its kept in the challenge rooms.

Theres plenty of co-op games to go around. We dont need to take another fantastic SP game and mash in co-op/mp. Games ARE allowed to be SP only.

As for the character switching, if it'd be similar to Catwoman It wouldn't be a big deal, but I wouldn't want this game ending up like 50% Bats and then 50% some other combo of people.

That was a pretty meh DLC. Played a lot better story DLC's than this. Didn't really add anything at all to the story.

I'm going to have disagree, it added some much needed character to Batman as well as Harley Quinn.

For some reason I'm feeling rusty when fighting with the confines of the story, I've been kicking ass in the combat challenges for the last few days but suddenly I'm stutter stepping in the fights in the story.

For a 2 hour DLC, it sure felt like I played through boring combat room after boring combat room with a couple of Predator scenario's thrown in. There was little to no story. All it included was Harley mourning and (but I was glad to see it) Batman obviously in mourning as well. Not to mention Robin, Oracle and Gordon constantly saying "What's wrong with him?". There was not great story arc at all, not even a hint at the next game. It was the stock standard; "Go rescue some cops and take out the villain", but with nothing interesting thrown in. Not to mention, it felt like they badly attempted at trying to bring back the Asylum atmosphere by having you in a closed in linear experience.

I agree with pretty much all of this.
I won't mind if they have have part of the story devoted to someone else, though, like they did with Catwoman. I'd like to have that with Nightwing or Robin, as long as it doesn't take away anything from Batman's part of the game.

Haha I was too. I'm blamin it on those annoying enemy indicators. I hate those things. Wish the game would let us turn em off.

Really? I downloaded it off there a while ago.

Anyway. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Beating the **** out of people as Robin is way for satisfying than doing it as Batman for some reason.

Maybe it's cause people are always on here comparing both games, so the developers showed you both. I think the open world format is the perfect way to do a superhero game period. There is too much mythos to those kinds of characters to trap them in a linear format. I thought some of the best parts of this game was the audio tapes of the characters it let you really fall into the AC atmosphere. I just don't think all the little things that Rocksteady did get enough credit. They are building their own Batman world, and it's Awesome! I believe the third game will stick to the same formula but with the "no man's land" kinda feel to it. The Joker is overrated in the Rocksteady world personally, I think he is annoying. I hope they develope some of the more intimidating threats. They should have done the Joker as straight ruthless, not just the clown. IMO.
