I'm glad Rhys said Connors wasn't a mustache-twirling villain.

Did you like Louis CK's new album?

I don't know if it's because I've heard it live so many times, but his last few specials haven't really hit me like they used to. I think he needs to start releasing a new special every 2 years, instead of trying to rush an hour out every single year.

And he never kept his BP oil spill joke in there. That was the funniest bit, and it never made it in.

So I was looking through the 2012 film calendar. December is going to be insane.

Les Miserables
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Django Unchained
The Great Gatsby

And Spielberg's Lincoln might be in the fold as well.

Don't worry, a day will come when you come here and it will be joy because of new posters, TV spots and stills!

What directors are they for these films and are these like action drama-type films?

Les Miserables is being directed by Tom Hooper (The King's Speech). I believe this is the first time a film adaptation is being made of the musical version.

The Great Gatsby is being directed by Baz Lurhmann (Moulin Rouge!). It's an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name (widely considered to be one of the greatest novels in American literature), and is being shot in 3D.

I hope the Great Gatsby is good. I love the book, and the cast looks very good.

Seriously, the stuff for this movie fluctuates between awesome and downright terrible. Hopefully it's good. From that, I'd certainly say so.

I feel the exact same way. It feels as though my excitement constantly flips from excited to not caring a lot.

I love Spider-man 1 and 2, and I am open to a reboot, but at the same time, it doesn't feel right that we're starting at the origin again, just expanded only to make it different from raimi's Spider-man.

Yeah they should've taken TIH route and and brush over the origins and go directly to the next Spidey story.

Would have been kinda' neat if TAS was non linear. Could brush over the origins without feeling to rushed.

Exactly. Altering the origin to be "fresh" is more than a little unnecessary. And it is pretty soon.

I suppose we'll see if it's good. Like I said, my feelings are jumping between it being really good or really terrible. I'm indifferent to Garfield as I don't even remember his performance in The Social Network. His delivery is a little weird, but I guess it could be better in context.

I'm going to the midnight showing for this; it just looks wonderful, and I've just had a huge amount of faith in the film ever since the chose Webb for the reboot. There are some who are still doubting it a bit, but after seeing this little shpeel, I'm hoping they see differently; there was just something Connors talking to that group of students and Peter walking in the background... it felt like a true force of acting nature. Never in a comic book movie have I felt anything so real and natural as to what I see in every day life, with the exception of Nolan's franchise.

But no, I can hardly wait!!!

It's practical and looks like something he can make; I wasn't fond of it when I first saw it when they were shooting on set awhile back, but it's grown on me. There's far worse out there, and don't make me post photos.
